Ali used rocks to face paint my children at the waterfall. She was very aware of the ages of those on the group and worked to provide each of them a personal and wonderful experience. All stops were great- especially the history of PR through a mural sculpture. The history and information was amazing, as well as really seeing PR. 1000% recommend Ali.

This tour delivers all that promised. Hector is a man of all trades and a good story teller. I thought the tour was a bit rushed and lots of driving not letting you walk around a bit and explore.

I decided to book this tour after seeing the comments and it did not disappoint us at all.

I contacted to ask if there was the possibility of starting the tour an hour later at 09:30AM instead of 08:30AM, since our cruise arrived in San Juan at 9AM. Alicia answered us super quickly to confirm that there was no problem.

When we arrived at the port of San Juan and disembarked, Alicia was waiting for us right at the exit of the port. He took us to his car, a kind of large 4X4 with a lot of space and very comfortable.

He drove us to El Yunque and, along the way, told us a lot of things about Puerto Rico, its history and its culture. Once in the El Yunque Forest Park, Alicia first took us to the Yokahú Tower, where she made a stop so we could climb up and take some photos from above. Then he made another stop at La Coca Falls, there we took some more photos, we even took one all together!

On our way back to San Juan, we made one more stop at the Camuy River Caverns and from there he took us to a market where we could try some typical dishes. The food was very delicious and at a very good price. We loved the ceviche and the bacalaitos (a kind of fried cake with cod).

From there we headed back to San Juan and, after a quick stop at the Parliament, Alicia took us through La Ciudadela, Condado and Old San Juan, including the Castle of San Felipe del Morro, the Church and the Chapel of the miracles.

Alicia was an absolute pleasure. We went with our two-year-old son and he helped us a lot with him throughout the tour. We loved how he treated it. Super kind and affectionate with him. It is clear that he has a gift with children.

In short, we were super happy with the experience. We found it to be a super efficient way to make the most of the hours we had in San Juan. We saw a lot of places and learned a lot about Puerto Rico, its history and its culture.

Very, very recommended.

Hector was amazing! The tour was comprehensive and we enjoyed it. We learned a lot about the island and stopped at a local place for some authentic food. The rainforest was beautiful and perfect if you don’t want to do the climbing, swimming, etc.

Really wanted to enjoy this tour, but frankly did not. Hector was a nice guy, but tour seemed to be more about him than what we were doing and seeing. We usually avoid ship tours, but wish we would have done one today. The waiting for non cruise passengers to be picked up from their various hotels first and then having to wait again after the tour for them to be dropped off (even stopped at the busy airport) wastes valuable time in port. Recommend more central meeting location versus stopping at every random hotel the group was staying at. The cost of the tour was about $15-20 too high compared to ship tours. The lunch stop was for already prepared fried food and skewers in a roadside cart/bar - more of a light snack than a real lunch. No prices were listed. Wish we could have done rainforest first to avoid traffic coming back. Unplanned souvenir stop was not needed by us (though others on tour wanted it) and only delayed getting back. The time given at stops really wasn't enough time to explore, so we would have preferred to just drive by slowly with more commentary about buildings and more to see rather than getting in and out of van within San Juan. We normally walk the forts when visiting, but wanted to visit the rainforest and see more within San Juan. Did not expect to see so little and waste useless waiting time at the two San Juan stops, 45 minute lunch for a food cart, and long drop off delay. Driver should have music playlist rather than playing with phone continuously switching songs while driving. Back seat of bus was uncomfortable and painful as we hit dips in the road. Nice tour guide in a newer a/c van with one water bottle provided, but just not an enjoyable tour. Need to see more and wait less. Too expensive for what we endured.
