Charlie was a great guide. Knowledgeable about Scotland’s history and took us to see the Hairy Coos with carrots to feed them. The boat trip in Loch Lomond was beautiful and Stirling Castle was amazing!

I realize that this tour includes a number of drivers/guides, but I must begin by noting how much we appreciated Stewart Ferguson as our guide. His life in the area, years in the military, and time as a tour guide all added up to our benefit. A very kind man with so much wisdom and knowledge.

Whether you are led by Stewart or another Timberbush driver, I recommend it. As part of our long cruise, we did not purchase any excursions sponsored by the cruise line. The price of Timberbush was much less than the excursions offered by our cruise line, and they promised to get us back to the ship well before sailing time. After a full day of exploring, we were back at a perfect time to freshen up and go to dinner. The directions at each stop were very clear. We went to Stirling castle, the quaint town of Callander, saw the middle and lower highlands, went to Trossachs national park, strolled through the small village of Luss, stood on the shores of Loch Lamond, and saw a couple Hairy Coo's. The commentary in between stops was great.

Nice, clean buss and a well-run trip. Stuart was great, told informative stories, and worked in some humor to break up the time. I’d definitely recommend this to others.

I would rate this tour 4.5 out of 5 Stars. Marc was our driver and guide on this tour - he was absolutely wonderful. Made sure everyone was looked after, was funny and interactive. He took the time to check in with me after some bumpy roads, as I had mentioned being prone to motion sickness. He also stopped for us to see some Highland cows and feed them carrots!

We were incredibly lucky to have such agreeable, warm weather, which only added to the beauty of the day. For anyone considering this tour, it’s a great way to see some of the natural beauty and rich history of Scotland. I highly recommend taking the boat cruise in Loch Lomond and pre-purchasing tickets online for Stirling Castle.

My only criticism would be that more time is required at the castle to really take it all in. I opted for one of the free guided tours which was about an hour, leaving me with only 30 mins to explore on my own.

Wanted the family to see Stirling Castle and thought the tour would be a good way to do it. Didn't know that we were going to see Loch Lomond by boat, that was a surprise. Our driver, Charlie, provided a great mix of history and music that tied to the sites we saw. Highly recommend this tour
