Calling all foodies. Come and join our small-group Bogota food tour and get to grips with the capital's cuisine. While on the surface Colombian cuisine seems like a mystery, those whose delve deep into its underbelly will find some of the most complex and nuanced fare in South America. Join our food-obsessed (and fully licensed) local guide on a feasting extravaganza through the streets of downtown.

Stop en-route to sample around 13+ different tastings including exotic fruits, lechona (roasted suckling pig), ajiaco soup, tamale at an historic bakery, Colombian sweet desserts and much, much more. Visit a truly local chicheria. Later play a round of explosive tejo, Colombian's national pastime - all washed down with a local beverage. Sign off the tour with an immersive coffee workshop to get to grips with why Colombia roasts some of the finest beans in the world.

Juliana was an amazing tour guide!
Food portions were huge and the tour was worth every cent, spent!

It is a walking food tour and the amount of walking did not exert too much energy. It was a great balance between all of the food.

I definitely recommend it.

Juliana was well prepared for every stop, there was even a joke within the group about her bag/tote seeming endless like Hermoine's in Harry Potter or Mary Poppins.

This food tour was SO wonderful. Not only did we get to taste many of Columbia’s delicacies but we were also treated to the history of the dishes and how they came to be. Andres is a delight! He is calm and full of knowledge. He introduced himself as a historian and let us know that we could feel comfortable asking him anything and we certainly did! I learned so much about Bogota and its people through this tour. We didn’t just sit and listen but we actually got to experience the culture first hand. We finished the tour at a microbrewery where we tasted the local beers while playing the Colombian version of “cornhole.” This food tour is a must do in Bogota!

Andres was an excellent host and guide. He prepared a slide show and detailed recipes, history and culture show for us to take.

The food was excellent and very authentic. We enjoyed the chicha, the soup, the pork and arepas, tamales and drinks. We also played games at two bars and really got a sense of Bogota, Colombia and the Andes region. Very well done.
