During the trip our tour leader tell you the history of the area and share with you curious anecdotes. Do not miss the chance to take photos of the panorama: a real sea of hills inlaid with rows of vineyards of the most diverse varieties.
Once you arrive in a Chianti village you can make your first real tasting: you will be offered 3 wines produced in the area and have the opportunity to buy the tasted wines and many other typical products such as olive oil. At the end of the first tasting you will have the exceptional opportunity to explore on your own the center of village, the medieval stone alleys and shop in local craft shops.
After visiting the village we will reach a typical farm, here the producers will be waiting for you with whom you will take a tour of the vineyards and the whole cellar, telling you how the grapes get to the bottle! After the visit it will be time for the second tasting of 3 local wines and a tasting of slow food products such as charcuterie and olive oil.

Most of the trip was spent in the bus. When we got to the vineyard and small town the free time was limited. The whole experience felt very rushed.

There were two separate wine tastings. The first was ok and the snacks provided for each were tiny (eg one small cube of cheese or salami per wine tasted) but the second one, in Chianti was very good. He made the experience incredibly interesting and we all learnt a lot. The guide was very nice but while she spoke in both fluent English and Italian she tended to talk in each language for around 15 minutes rather than doing one or two sentences at a time. This made the journey quite boring as we had no idea what she was saying for a lot of the time.

This is a great half-day tour! Local traffic had it run a little later but it worth it from start to finish.

Tour was good. Tour guide was great! The only bad part (not tour guides fault) was the very young kids on the tour. Who brings 3 and 5 year olds on a wine tour? The poor kids did not want to be there. And of course the parents did not have head phones for there video games that were played for all to hear.

This tour was a last-minute addition for us as we wanted to get out of the city. It was perfect for what we wanted. There were 53 people on the bus, so it was really full. However, we still felt we had plenty of time at each stop and the right amount of personalized attention from the guide. She was also extremely knowledgeable, and we learned so much about the Tuscany region and the process of making Chianti. The winery was beautiful, as was the small town we stopped in. And, other than our 53 friends from the tour, there were no other crowds. It was fantastic!!

Me and my wife took this wine tour and was hoping to have a great time, loved the wine tasting but unfortunately the first winery was racist to us.The whole group was full of white people. The person who was leading the activity in the first winery was very racist which ruined both of our day.It is so sad that people remain ignorant by choice.I would never recommend this tour to people of color.Hope this review might change the behaviour of the first winery.

VERY RUSHED! Book any other wine country excursion than this one. The whole experience was extremely rushed and did not provided time to "stop and smell the roses" as the description seemed to indicate. Would highly recommend a small group or private tour instead...this was at least 50 people, which also greatly diminished the experience.
