This trip will take you on one of Norway’s most popular and spectacular hikes. It is for good reason that this hike has gained its popularity with visitors to Norway and locals alike. Situated only a few hours from Stavanger, Pulpit Rock - or Preikestolen in Norwegian - is a towering cliff-plateau directly suspended over Lysefjorden. To stand (or sit) so close to the edge is probably the moment that hikers look forward to the most, although it is no easy deed. The top offers unobstructed views over the meandering blue fjord that was formed by the glaciers during the last Ice Age, making it a good spot to enjoy a photo session and possibly a light snack.

We were really well supported and provided with facts and best routes and photo points so we missed the rush of people whilst still being safe. One of us was scared of heights but felt super safe even on the narrow bits. Our tour guide Shaun was super friendly and we felt at ease straight away he was so personable and is genuinely passionate about his job which made the experience that much better, highly recommended!

Josephine was a wonderful guide and conversationalist. We enjoyed asking her questions about Norwegian life as much as the hike. She kept our group at a pace that was good for all. She was very experienced.

Had an amazing sunrise hike with Shaun. Picked up promptly at 1am and due to confusion ended up being the only person on the tour. We started our climb in the dark and reached Pulpit Rock by 4am for breathtaking views. Shaun was entertaining and engaging: a pleasure to spend 5hours with! I am so glad I took this tour, not only was it me and the guide we didn’t encounter another person until we reached the top! Made it back down for 5:30am and was back in bed by 6:30! Wont forget this trip in a hurry. Thanks Shaun!

Hi! You never picked me up at the hotel. I waited for you about 1.5 hours so one of my friend called you and said that I cancelled my ticket. I never did. :(

Amazing hike. Unfortunately, the view from the top of Preikestolen was a little bit (absolutely) foggy, so it was impossible to see the Lysefjord from that side. Anyway, even foggy, rainy and cloudy, the day was beautiful, and it was possible to enjoy a very calm hike!
Nice tour, the guide was very nice too, and the views on the way are extremely pretty.
Even foggy, it is possible to take some funny pictures at Preikestolen.
Nothing to complain about, very calm and nice hike, 5 starts tour!
