Join us in this eco-adventure snorkeling tour to the only virgin island in the Mexican Caribbean the national park and ecological reserve of Contoy Island. Before exploring Contoy, we make a 45 minute stop in dowtown Isla Mujeres, this is the perfect time for souvenirs or just walking around in it's beautiful "malecon".
Then, we head to Contoy, where you can experience its unique flora and fauna with our certified bilingual guides, and snorkel at the scenic Ixlache reef which marks the start of the 2nd largest reef barrier in the world.
This also includes a gastronomic experience during lunch, the famous Tikinxic fish will be served, fresh out of the water, broiled and marinated in local spices along with grilled chicken, salad and your favorite drink, an open domestic bar is also included in the tour (soft drinks, beer and cocktails).
After Contoy Island we return to our marina, expect a very joyfull return to Cancun with our fantastic crew!

Music on boat too loud and annoying. Weird beverage served on boat- tasted like warm, fake Tang? No one warned us about age 60 age limit for snorkeling until we were at sea. That’s ridiculous as I am a much better swimmer than many of those I observed snorkeling. Crew was fun. Boat ran well. I experienced it, just a marginal recommend from me as Mujeres is just a souvenir stop. I would not tell my friends to take this trip- too much loud boat ride for too little result.

Isla Contoy is the most beautiful place I have ever been, and these are the guys to visit it with. The crew were absolutely fantastic, they were all so friendly, funny, helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable. Rolando went above and beyond, and provided a tour of the island.

Last excursion carried out, we end our trip to Quintana Ro in style.

We ate well and had a wonderful discovery of Contoy Island, a postcard braie, a heavenly place.
Protected island with rules to respect, good awareness! The wildlife is incredible.
We loved it in every way.

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in Cancun and were looking for something special to do as an excursion. The Isla Contoy Eco Tour was a perfect choice. It was a blend of learning something new and good old fashioned Mexican music and dancing. Roland, our main English speaking tour guide, was a gem 💎. His English was excellent, his knowledge was deep and his ability to entertain was rare. We highly recommend this tour, it’s a must!!!
