Juan Cruz was our guide he was amazing. He was funny and very informative, he gave us a historical tour of the island . He made sure to translate in both English and Spanish and was very attentive. I’ve been on the excretion before and it wasn’t half as fun with Juan and the rest of the team.Young boy (has a Tupac tattoo) was one of the best guys at the coffee and coco experience he was amazing. He let us try the coco and also taught us about the Arabic coffee. And gave us multiple shots of mama Juana !! Definitely recommend coming on this exertion with Juan! We had a blast.

Can fault Darius our host and guide for today who made trip decent and was always engaging and knowledgable. Kept at it whole day and even though trip with a lot of nationals on it kept it to French and English to suit all as couldn’t be done with multiple repeats (no offence meant) Trip was long feel distance didn’t justify the tour as wee bit more walking and sites would have been welcomed. However what we seen I enjoyed and was good to listen to knowledge and immerse in the culture. Not one for shops (got well bumped the one we were in) but nice to pick up gifts for back home. Enjoyed the museum and cathedral just felt for distance travelled few more sites would have been ideal. The driver (Enrico Inglasus 🤣 was very nice also and cut out a load of traffic issues with good driving and short cuts.,Again if it was not for Darius I would say skip this if going from Punta Canta as long day but he made all the difference. Maybe just me but I would also have preferred a lot more walking as only covered 1.8 mile for nearly 6 hours travelling time

The tour operator Jesus was very knowledgeable and both the driver Alberto and Jesus were very helpful with my disability. Lunch at Mama Maria’s was very good and Jesus’s narrative on the Dominican culture was particularly interesting.

This was an activity that gave us the opportunity to visit and know more about the history and culture of RD. Our guide Nacho is very personable, good sense of humor, multilingual and entertainment. We loved this trip even though it takes some time to get to Santo Domingo, but the bus ride makes it comfortable (AC, clean, spacious). The driver stopped for passengers to take a quick break for either bathroom or drinks. He was very careful as he drove through SD showing different places, we were dropped off at the oldest fort door entrance where you start the tour around the old town, visiting several museums, gift shops, and iconic buildings.
They give you a water bottle before starting the tour in SD, and before heading back. The tour includes a buffet lunch which it’s at a local restaurant with different options at your convenience. Really worth it if you want to take a day off from the resort.
Both Brian and Nacho made our tour a memorable trip. Very recommendable.

Excellent narration ( considering how well you connect economic situation, education, politics, culture, other topics with historical info) and time management by Darius. Thanks for the planning ahead by providing umbrellas. Driver (Enrique) was very careful and exhibited safe drive all through. Lunch choice was also great.
