Great tour guide
We did the 8am tour which was perfect as traffic better, we stopped other side of Golden Gate Bridge which was a nice extra. Muir Woods was beautiful but it is what it is just trees, Sausalito was beautiful weather was hot hot hot we stopped for pizza and a cold drink then enjoyed a stroll, all in all the time allowed was perfect for us, we wouldn’t have done either if not booking a tour so it was all a lovely extra for us.

Had an amazing time on this tour, Ulrich was an incredible tour guide! Very knowledgeable and personable! For anyone new to the area or visiting, would highly recommend taking this tour!

Wonderful tour. Our guide, I cannot remember his name (very nice gentleman originally from Russia) was personable and knowledgeable, a great guide. We chose this tour because it was condensed, and tickets were not included (retired military - free entrance with a national park pass). We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel, very convenient. The time allowed at Muir Woods and Sausalito was perfect. Just enough time to get an overall picture of each location. We stopped at the recommended Mexican restaurant for lunch and had enough time to sightsee. You have the option to take the ferry back if there is not enough time in Sausalito, but we went back with the guide. Highly recommend the tour.

We had Jerry for our tour, and he was a great guide and storyteller. He was very familiar with the area and had many good stories to tell throughout the drive. We left the hotel around 8 am, and on our way out of the city, he had some fun historical stories to tell. We stopped by a Golden Gate Bridge photo opp before going to Muir Woods. Spent about an hour and 15 minutes walking through Muir Woods which was the right amount of time. Then we headed to Sausalito for lunch. We opted to take the ferry back to SF instead of getting a ride with the tour and the ferry ride was sunny and pleasant. Highly recommend the tour - it’s a good way to get in some great sights without having to navigate traffic and other details yourself.

We enjoyed our half-day-tour very much. We were picked up at our hotel at the agreed time and our tour-guide Michael took us in a clean and climatised bus to Muir Woods.
Michael is very knowledgeable about the area North of S.F. and told us a lot of exciting things on the way.
At Muir Woods we took the round-trip hiking path through the woods and deeply enjoyed the air and the atmosphere.
I cannot share some of the older comments that the time at Muir Woods is not long enough to enjoy it. We had time enough to wander along the long round-track and even get a coffee at the visitor center before we left again. Anyway the time restrictions come from the limited parking time.
From Muir Woods we drove over to Sausalito where we had time to explore the various shops and have lunch at one of the restaurants. We decided to take the ferry back to S.F. so we said good-bye to the (small) group here.
What you should know, if Michael is your tour-guide: He skips the viewpoint of the Golden Gate Bridge going out because he has a special place to stop at on the way back to S.F. - which you will miss, if you take the ferry like we did. But we did have a wonderful view of the bridge from the ferry, so we didn´t mind.

The guide , Joe, was good. The trip was memorable. The reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 was only having 50 minutes in Sausalito.
