Explore both the Dutch and French sides of St Maarten on this fun 4-hour bike tour using Hardtail Cube Acid E-Bikes for extra boost. You’ll pass through the town of Philipsburg and over “the hill” enjoying magnificent views of town and the neighboring islands along the way. With several stops for photos and historical information from your guide, you'll really get to know and experience this beautiful island. Stops include Cay Bay Hill, The Causeway, The Border Monument, Fort Louis, and the Fench local Market Place.

Please note that St. Maarten does not have cycling lanes, therefore this tour requires cycling with traffic, which might be an uncomfortable experience if you are not accustomed to it.

Pablo and Benson were great guides and obviously skilled at their jobs! This was an adventurous e-bike ride across the island. We loved it, but it was hot in June!

Our guide Paulo was amazing. Very informative-safety conscious and the right amount of stops for a 3.5 hour ride. Even stopped about halfway at a local juice bar. E bikes were charged and set up ready to go. We were on the road 10 minutes after arriving. We definitely would do another tour with tri sports!

My wife and I did the Two-Countries E-bike tour from Philipsburg (Dutch side) to Marigot (French side) and back when we were in port with our cruise ship. Our guide was Benson and he was incredibly friendly, kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. As two teachers, we were super impressed with his abilities as a guide and teacher! We highly recommend him and this bike tour in beautiful St. Maarten!!

This was our first time on E-bikes. Bensen was an amazing guide. Not only was he patient with us he was also very knowledgeable about the island of St. Maarten and surrounding islands. We could not have asked for a better experience!

We took the tour through the cruise ship and it wasn't ebikes. We were on Treks. Very nice bikes overall, they had a variety of sizes for the group and most bikes had helmets. A few of us went without. 90% of the tour was flat, there was only one hill, right at the beginning. Overall a nice 5+ mile ride with stops along the way to learn about the island and it's history and culture. Marci and Janelle were great guides and took good care of us. Be sure to come well hydrated, as the heat surprised me and left me a little lightheaded and nauseous.

Enjoyed this tour very much. On this tour of a total of 36 km you will see a large part of the island with beautiful views. We have been to St Maarten before and have done this route by car before, but the experience on the bike is different. You avoid traffic jams by car, enjoy the outdoors, and can stop where and how often you want, because you are not dependent on parking spaces. There are a few hills and it is hot, but it is doable with an e-bike. Sufficient water is provided for the journey and there is also a stop for a drink on a terrace in Marigot with a beautiful view of the lagoon. The traffic is busy in some places and you cycle largely on the road, but that was not too bad for us and was not a problem at all. All in all, the tour lasted about 4 hours. When we went we were the only participants, so we had a private tour. We had Jan as a guide; a very cordial retiree from the Netherlands who tells a lot and takes the wishes and pace of the participants into account. That is especially nice for Dutch people and I would definitely ask for Jan (only in the winter months, in the summer he is in the Netherlands). We were on a cruise for a day in St Maarten, and had booked this tour via the internet instead of the cruise line excursions. They only offered the city bike tour, which was a bit too limited for us. Booking yourself is also a lot cheaper and easy to do; if you indicate so, they will be ready with the bicycles for you at the cruise terminal. The next time we visit St Maarten, we will definitely do another cycle tour, probably the eastern side, and we will ask for Jan again.

We met Kris at the agreed starting point near our cruise ship on time and enjoyed a privately guided tour of the island. We are both experienced cyclists and thoroughly enjoyed the route which was about 40kms. We stopped at various viewpoints and Kris explained some of the history in each place. At Maho Beach, next to the airport, we had a drinks stop and watched the planes coming in to land over the beach. The route was quite undulating in parts, but the electric bikes were easily able to cope with the hills. We felt safe the whole time as Kris led the way and guided us around. This is a highly recommended way to see the island and some parts you would never get to see on a bus tour. Thank you Kris!

Such a great way to see the French and Dutch sides of the island. You get to bypass all the car traffic and stop at any point. Our guide Jan was a joy and very informative and attention to safety and always letting us know what to expect along the way. You do need to be a little fit, even with e-bike, to bike up a few hills. Definitely recommend if you want to get some exercise and see the beautiful sites. Loved every minute!

Chris was a great guide. Was a wealth of information about the island. Was very thorough in explaining how to use and navigate the e-bike. Was a great way to see the island and get a mild workout at the same time. Definitely recommend this excursion.
