The best experience to learn about the old arts of Venice lagoon islands: Murano and Burano.
With a private boat from Venice, directly to the oldest original Murano Glass Factory, where a Master glassblower and his team are working daily, following the tradition of centuries ago. From Murano, crossing the lagoon, we’ll reach Burano island, famous for its lace work and the colourful atmosphere. Walking by picturesque houses, enjoying the typical “bussolai” (famous cookies of the island), feeling like a resident. Last but not least, an insightful guided visit into an historical hand-made lace workshop.
Then back to Venice by private boat, for an outstanding view of the lagoon.

Luca was prompt, friendly and truly knowledgeable about not only Burano and Murano and the artisans there but could speak to all of Venetian and Italian history as well. This made the tour even more enjoyable. He is ne of the best tour guides i have ever had the pleasure to meet and should be commended for his manner and enthusiasm. He didn't rush us and arranged for a delicious meal even though we got off schedule by a bit because we enjoyed the demonstration of glass bowing on Murano so much. Here Francesca should be recognized as well, an artisan in her own right, she was able to explain the history, process and different specialties of the Masters at Fornace Venier in a way that made us feel involved and accepted as guests and not just another tour. I can't recommend this tour and these guides highly enough!

All on all was amazing and everything was on time, the guide and driver they was a kindness people and talked about everything that we saw

We had the best tour !!! We traveled for 3 weeks and had lots of tour guides but Luca was amazing and by far our favorite tour. He was so interesting and passionate about Venice. We throughly enjoyed touring the Murano glass factory and learning about how they blow the glass. We got to see it in person. Then we visited the island of darling colorful island of Burano where the lace is made. We went to a store where the woman make lace. Had a fabulous lunch that Luca made a reservation for. He got us some cookies from an original bakery there. It was a perfect way to end our last day of our vacation.

Truly a great experience. Both islands were amazing. The glass making factory was a very cool experience and its really amazing “art productions”. Burano is a really cool unique beautiful town. The boat ride is crazy good. The guide was want of the best I have ever had in 40 years of traveling. He did a completely great job.

For some context, I always try to pick out the best guided tours everywhere I go so I take my time reading reviews and picking the best as a lot of operators offer the same tour. This was different however… we were late to the start of the tour as our train was running late but that wasn’t an issue for Luka, he was already waiting for us at our hotel. Moving onto the tour we had a private boat taxi to ourselves on every stop which was super nice and convenient. We also got to see a glass blowing master in action, all to ourselves and even got the chance to try glass blowing! Luka was very engaging and had plenty of stories during the boat rides as well. He was up for any questions and was extremely passionate about Venice. Constantly offered to take pictures of my wife and I, told us about all the best spots and angles to take photos of the islands. He also knew the way around the islands to avoid big crowds and enjoy the peacefulness of the islands. Highly recommend!

The glass tour was unforgettable. Thank you Georgia for showing us your beautiful home. We were able to order some custom pieces. The lace was spectacular and so delicate. A must do tour when you are in Venice.

Our tours to the islands were interesting, informative, and exceptional thanks to our personable guide, Matteo, sharing his extensive knowledge and good vibes. Being mobility-challenged, we needed special assistance to cope with the various landscapes and Matteo took care of us like he was one of the family - highly recommended!
