We loved this trip. Fantastic to get out of the city. Pick up was spot on time and we loved the scooter ride to travel to the cycle shop. The visit to a local home, meeting the family and hearing about their history and seeing their lovely house, was just one of the highlights, however there were many including the Pagoda visit and sugar cane drinks.
Perry was knowledgeable and friendly, also speaking good English.
The lunch stop was great. Local restaurant, full of local workers and great food.
Be aware this can become very hot and sometimes you are cycling in very busy areas. Would definitely recommend the morning trip to miss the highest temperatures.

Chris our guide was fantastic. Very caring and helpful. We are 76 and 75 years old and I quite small so he helped me on and off my bike.
The tour was brilliant and the broom shop and the highlight was the visit to an elderly couple whose interest was bonsai with the most amazing specimens on display

Hoa, our guide, did a wonderful job. He showed us the “real” Hanoi on this 20 mile bike ride tour. We visited an ancient temple, biked through picturesque rice fields, and visited the home of a charming elderly man who served us delicious tea and showed us his extensive bonsai garden. We also drove through the suburbs of Hanoi, which enabled us to see another side of Hanoi. Hoa was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and attentive to our needs. Truly, this was a memorable experience!

I did the morning tour with Dat. He was fantastic. Speaks english very well which helps a lot. Visited rice paddies, temple, watched a tug if war between villages and visited a vietnamese home with a gentleman who has a long history that he happily shares. He also does bonsai and some are 60 years old. Then had a local lunch of pork and noodles. Yum! The bike ride was great and suits all type of bike riders. A great way to see the country side. Thoroughly recommend.

Amazing tour through the country. I feel like this is the best experience in Vietnam which says a lot because the whole trip has been over the top. This tour feels like a local who is showing a close relative the area. I highly recommend Perry and his group. You won’t be disappointed.

After spending four days in Hanoi, This was a great way to get out of the city and see the suburbs and countryside surrounding. Cutting through rice fields, Quiet little neighborhoods, And along the riverside Was just what we needed. Great Bun Cha lunch with our two fantastic tour guides, Perry and Bao.

I'm a cyclist and a cook, so we took a tour that enchanted me, we went to the rice fields, the local market (very local, which I loved) and a spectacular lunch in a street restaurant! This activity can also be done on the back of a scooter because for those who are not skilled in heavy traffic, I don't recommend going on a bike, I simply loved it!

We had a great experience on our half day bike tour. We met a local broom maker, biked across rice paddies, went to a temple and the home of a retired expert bonsai artist. The local people were so friendly and gracious! We were served tea twice. Perry was an excellent guide in both the cycling and translating. He also answered many questions about Vietnamese culture and history. We finished the ride with a delicious lunch at a highly rated local restaurant. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely wonderful time on the half-day bike tour with Bean and his team! From the banks of the Red River to the vibrant local markets, and even the train passing in the middle of the Long Bien Bridge, every moment was delightful. Bean's extensive knowledge of the area and its history added a fascinating depth to our experience. We particularly enjoyed visiting the traditional craft of broomstick making and the heartwarming encounter with the local family in their 200-year-old house. Our lunch at the end of the tour was AMAZING. Bean took us to a local spot for Bun Ca, where we indulged in flavorful broth and fresh ingredients. Additionally, Bean’s team was extremely attentive, ensuring everyone's safety throughout the journey. We highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking a unique adventure in Hanoi!"
