Zalipie is a picturesque village where houses and interiors are decorated in colorful floral patterns. Decoration of Zalipie started in 19th century. Women painted walls of their cottages to brighten their interiors and make them prettier.

Cute little town to visit. This isn’t a typical tourist trap so don’t expect restaurants, gift shops and the museum tour guide does the whole thing in Polish and our guide had translate for us. But a very relaxing and easy day out.

We booked with The Tours Brothers. Picked up on time and our driver/guide Kamil was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He spoke excellent English and on his return he emailed us a list of restaurants and pubs he thought we may like.

七月份的波蘭行因為要造訪的Zalipie Village彩繪村路程遠較難到達 剛好在Trip Advisor上看到Chris的資料評價很好 便以email連繫上他 Chris英文很流利 對於我提出的問題都非常迅速的回覆 讓我非常放心 是可以信賴的專業導遊👍
Thanks Chris for taking us to the nice and cute village which is full of Poland traditional floral patterns. I haven’t seen similar houses in other places!
Fun trip to go and we learn lots of old-style polish culture during the trip! If you enjoy taking photographs, you can definitely get pretty pictures and memories there!
For people who like to make their own souvenir with those floral patterns, there is also a workshop to join~

I had visited Zalipie with my family through the day tour provided by Chris. The visit to Zalipie painted village is one of the highlight in our Poland trip. Chris is a very reliable,honest and friendly person. He had communicated with me before the trip and flexible to change the pick up and drop off location. He also shared some local information with us during the driving. The price he charged is much more reasonable than other private tours that I found in the internet. Most importantly is Chris is a very honest man. I had mistakenly given him the tour fee in Euro instead of in PLN. He kindly reminded me I had overpaid him. I have no hesitate to hire Chris again nor recommend him to others.
