Emmanuel (our driver) was an absolute delight. His English was great! He listened carefully to what we wanted to see/do and made it all happen. From seeing the Vatican, to helping us find “take away pizza” so we could see more of Rome it was a great trip. He also knew exactly where to stop on the route so that we would get the best pictures (he even took a bunch for us). His knowledge of the city was impressive (he knows it like the back of his hand) and he knows about the buildings, the history and why each site is important in Roman history. He has some sort of special pass that allowed him to go/park in places that others couldn’t (like the Trevi Fountain) which was important because several in our party have significant mobility issues. We learned tons and had a great time together.

Would have given 5 stars if the air conditioner was working. The temperature was 27deg c and the air con was on and off so it was not ideal.
However, the driver was excellent so it made up with the downfall of the air con.
The driver was very knowledgeable and showed us all the landmarks on the itinerary. And madd extra effort to recommend us a very good local restaurant. We have 6 of us, 4 of us went to the Vatican tour for 1.5hrs, leaving the other 2 waiting for us in the car. BUT Emmanuel took them to have a panoramic sightseeing in the high point of Rome.
All in all, it was good value for money for a 9 hrs cruise excursion. From pick up to returning to the cruise ship, ther was no hitch, only let down by the van's temperamental ac.
