The start of the concert was awkward with quite a few notes sounding off ; the second piece was better with the group being more in sync but really mostly because the one violinist carried the whole concert

I felt like a queen listening to a live concert of music by Mozart and Strauss in this sumptuous church. The acoustics were amazing! A must do for the real Vienna experience. We were surrounded by amazing gold statues and many paintings

Amazing musicianship. The string quartet played on hundred years old instruments with traditional gut strings which had an incredible tone reminiscent of what would have been heard in the 1700s.

Awe inspiring venue with a lovely chamber group. Great music. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The church is a hidden gem. The pews are a bit uncomfortable, but concert is worth it. The chairs on the sides may be a better choice.

The three of us visited this beautiful, lavishly decorated church for a concert of classical music!
The tickets were bought online and we were free to choose our seats, so we chose the first row!
It was the AEON string quartet who played that night: Fritz Kircher - violine, Anna Obermayer - violine, Wolfram Fortin - viola and Ute Groh - violoncello.
We heard the KV 465 "Dissonanzen" from Mozart and the D 810 "Der Tod und das Mädchen" from Schubert.
It was such an experience, we enjoyed the music and the skilful performance of the fantastic quartet! Thank you very much!

This was our only disappointing concert- the church, compared to all the other concert settings we've experienced, felt ordinary, and the concert itself was uninspired.

We did not have the opportunity to book an event to attend in advance, compared to the dates of the holiday. And in the musical field many interesting events were already sold out. Some of those available seemed a little too touristy to us and, not knowing exactly how to orient ourselves, we asked the tourist office, which is also the ticket sales point, for advice. The string quartet concert was very pleasant and the musicians very good. Since the seats were not numbered and therefore not reservable, we decided to arrive at least 30 minutes early and found a seat in the front row and this allowed us to see, as well as listen to, the musicians' performance and allowed us to be more involved. . The musicians used very old period instruments and explained that it was an added pleasure for them to play these instruments. We had a pleasant evening.
