5 Days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru & Naivasha Budget Joining Safari

I did my market research before finalizing our travel arrangements and found that Jocky’s, despite their stellar reviews, offered some of the best deals out there. I also realized during the trip that the camp sites, lodging faciities and activities that Jocky’s gave us are the same ones used by other tour operators that quoted us higher rates.

Our tour guide, Joseph, is top notch and walked the extra mile to make sure that we complete the Big Five in this safari. He didn’t give up until we found the elusive leopard which completed our quest! We will never forget this wonderful experience. We fell in love with Kenya and its people because of the experience that we had with Joseph and the team of Jocky’s Tours.

Our tours was an unbelievable experience. Our guide Khalifa made our safari. We got to see all of the big 5, including a leopard attacking a zebra being our highlight. Khlifas knowledge of the areas was second to none, among other stories about Kenya in general. He made sure we had a great trip.

The accommodation and food was great with hot showers and comfortable beds the whole way along. We were on our honeymoon and was highlight of our trip.

Great value and a great trip can’t fault anything.

Everything was very good on our safari with Bryan and Leroy.
We did 6 days in Masai Mara, Naivasha, Nakuru and Amboseli. All parks are worth it.
The guides were very willing to ensure that we had a good vacation. Always attentive to answer questions and find the best locations for the truck to see the animals. Good decisions about when to continue, when to stop, how long to stay in each place (the tour was private).
The category was budget but the accommodations are very good considering the price paid. The campsites are rustic but it is what is expected from that type of places and they have everything you need.
The meals are basic and with little variety but they are good, delicious and in good quantity.

This travel agency is affordable and has reasonable arrangements. Our guide, Dennis, was very gentle, courteous, gentle and patient. We happened to meet the Kenyan protest, who took good care of us and was a reliable friend. The hostel arranged for us to stay in the Manjaro Tented Camp in Amboseli, which has a view of Kilimanjaro, the hostel's owner Andrew was very helpful, and there were herds of impala in the hostel's courtyard.

Really enjoyed our safari with Steve. He made us feel like one family and always had a smile on his face. He also managed to show us all of the big 5 as well as lots of other animals.
Accommodation was acceptable for a budget tour and having all meals included was awesome. No complaints there.
Just be aware that the Masai Village visit which of course is optional will cost you far more than you might expect. It was great seeing and hearing how they live. But on top of the entry fee they expect you to buy souvenirs from them as well as a donation to the school if you go there.
Overall a great safari with Steve

I highly recommend Steve and Jocky Tours. Had an excellent safari experience where Steve took care of all the details so we didn’t need to worry about anything and he made us part of his “travelling family” for five very enjoyable days. I greatly appreciated Steve’s flexibility in the schedule dependent on our respective interests and his ability to navigate the vehicle into a good position for viewing the wildlife. Thanks Steve for a fantastic African adventure!

We had an amazing time on our safari with our tour guide Robert. Not only mega-expert about all things Kenya/Safari/Wildlife but also a great person to converse with on long travels together.
We did 4 days Masai Mara/Nakuru/Naivasha and Robert was very available to customize our experience to us and our preferences. Thank you so much for an experience of a lifetime. We hope to see you again

We had taken 5 days safari which included Masai mara , Nakuru park , lake Naivasha and geothermal plant.

Our tour guide was Alex. He was very nice and co-operative. He tried to show us as much animals possible
Luckily we were able to see all big five.
His driving skill was impressive

The camp & the resort booked was good also food was delicious.

Overalls we had lot of fun . Our driver/tour guide Alex completely took care of us though out the 5 days. We are thankful for jockey tours and Alex.

This Safari was so amazing, I saw a lot of animals very closely.
Our guide Rahim(Masai Mara) and David(Lake Nakuru & Naivasha) always did their best to find good spots and give us information.
Especially, Thank you for a great experience, David!!
He adjusted the departure time to suit the conditions, which made for a great safari experience.
Jocky tour is a very good choice for quality and budget safari.

The safari tour was well planned and organized. As for the cost of the tour package which included accomodation and meals it was reasonable and provided good value for money. The driver/ tour guide - Kikitu provided exceptional service, excellent driving skills and he even shared his knowledge about the area and wildlife to us.And he made sure that we were able to see various animals in their natural habitat. Overall, it was such an amazing and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this tour agency specially Kikitu as a driver and tour guide
