Our guide (Maurice) was outstanding, giving us great information on all the highlights. He managed the traffic like an expert and got us to everywhere we expected. He was very knowledgeable, professional and experienced.

Our private tour of Rome is our favorite tour so far. Alberto was not only a professional and knowledgeable tour guide, he had personality and added some extras that made the trip even more memorable. He made the day an exceptionally pleasant experience, even with the crowds. We have told family and friends considering a Rome visit to definitely use the private tour and if possible to request Alberto. He kept us on schedule and got us safely back to our ship on time. He stopped at a cafe for pastries and coffee for our morning break and booked reservation in a restaurant for a quick lunch. Those two stops were not expected but highly enjoyed by the three of us. It gave us a personal experience of Rome that we would not have had otherwise.

We had Alesandro as our Vatican private guide. She was waiting when Alberto arrived. She took us through the area for our walking tour. The vast amount of knowledge she had of the places and history was remarkable. She knew the stories that went with the paintings on the walls, she explained the rooms and chapels we visited, gave us a few minutes to shop in the gift shop and got us through on schedule.

Alberto and Alesandra were an excellent tour team and left us with wonderful once in a lifetime memories. I highly recommend them both as well as Viator for professional tours and will use Viator every time we are visiting a new place n the future.

Fabio was our tour guard and he did an incredible job! We got everywhere on time, he gave tons of great information, he was helpful and kind, and he provided a first class experience! He made the day truly special! So lad we took the time to do this tour!

Both Ricardo and Marco were excellent tour guides. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny throughout the tours. They both also showed us key parts of the tours efficiently and quickly compared to other tours. Both very kind and funny would highly recommend

The private tour was great - our driver/guide was excellent and provided us with close access to the major attractions. Definitely better than going on those tourist buses loaded with 40+ passengers and waiting for the lost ones to return to the meeting point!

Alberto meet us at Civitavecchia port just in front of the ship
and shared interesting History on the drive to Rome .He took us everywhere we wanted to go and more .We had a tour guide for the Vatican named Marco who also Fantastic. It was a great day and totally worth the money.

This is the second time that I used Across Rome and both times they were wonderful. This year we had a group of 7 people. We landed in Rome Airport and wanted to do a private tour of Rome and then be dropped off at the cruise terminal to begin our cruise. I arranged the excursion on line. I had several emails with Alessandro and he always promptly replied to my emails. Upon arrival in Rome, our driver (Andrea) picked us up in and air conditioned (very important as it was 92 degrees) Mercedes van. He was very pleasant and took us on a very nice tour of Rome. I would highly recommend Across Rome for excursions and transfers.
