Guide was wonderful. Went above and beyond for my group. Took time after tour to show us where the train station was.

My tour guide was Sancar. He is incredibly knowledgable about the history of Brussels and Europe, and genuinely curious about the world, making him a joy to speak to. Despite it being only a 3 hour tour, he made the effort to remember everyone’s names and where they were from. He engages each person individually and has this deadpan sense of humour.

At the end of a tour, he even gave us a list of recommended restaurants and places to visit. He didn’t ask for tips, surprisingly. Just a good review if you appreciate his work. Highly recommend the tour only if it’s with Sancar.

This tour was amazing. Our group of 6 got there a little late but our tour guide has great communication. He did an amazing job of explaining the history of Brussel and the food. The waffle was honestly the best I have ever tasted. The chocolate was so good that I went back and spent $60 on more. At the end the tour guide was even more helpful and actually took us to the train station, showed us where to buy tickets and told us what platform to be on. I couldn't have asked a nice tour or guide. A+++

If you only have a couple hours, this is a great way to see some of the key landmarks in Brussels, learn about the city (and country) history, and enjoy a waffle and some chocolates along the way. Our guide was professional and informative, and the pacing of the tour was great. The tastings were spaced out to keep our energy up, and little breaks including 10 minutes to explore the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula on our own after a guided introduction, which was perfect because there was so much to see and we could choose what to focus on.

Knowledgeable guide, Sancar, was intelligent, well spoke, and had great city information from history on where to eat after the tour.
Recommended places for me that are not in the city center because he got to know me and realized as a solo traveler, I was not only interested in the tourist spots.

We were met on time in Grand Place, and our guide had taken the trouble to know our names almost immediately. It was a small group of 12 people which was perfect as it made for a much more personalized tour. As a historian, he could answer our questions effortlessly, but set a tone whereby all questions were welcomed and even invited discussions along the way. We saw the major sites as promised, but threw in several sites or artifacts not so common. We even shared an excellent beer at the end of our tour when we could continue with our discussions. This was certainly one of the highlights of our trip to Belgium, and would highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed.

Great experience with a knowledgeable guide. Walking the streets, listening to his stories was wonderful. As he navigated the streets he also shepherded the group being mindful of cars and bikes and ultimately our safety.
