Svetitskhoveli is the most important monument of the Georgian culture, art, and architecture, and is distinguished not only by its artistic dignity, nobility, and harmony but also by the role that once played for the Georgian nation.
3. Jvari Church
Jvari is a sixth-century must-visit Georgian Orthodox monastery near Mtskheta. Along with other historic structures of Mtskheta, it is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. There are beautiful panoramic views from here and many of you head here to take amazing photos!
4. Sagarejo
After Mtskheta, we will head to the Kakheti region. We will stop for lunch in a cozy restaurant with a beautiful garden. Sighnaghi is a small beautiful city in the heart of Kakheti. One of the most interesting sights here is the city walls of Sighnaghi, located on a high slope. You can enjoy the magnificent view of the Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Mountains.
