Provided one has time the side trip is ok and a good addition to the museums of Bogota.
While the place is big and impressive it lacks artistic grandeur.

The bus was right on time at the hotel to start our trip. Manuel gave us some information about the city and it’s history while picking up the other people. Bus driver was very friendly and brought us safe to the Cathedral! Was nice to see this enormous salt caves and the art within! Afterwards we had a nice lunch at the recommended restaurant & visited the local village with our driver. Glad we participated on this tour! Big up
