You will be guided through your whiskey tasting experience by local host Derek, who will welcome you to the tasting with an introductory drink of Jameson Ginger and Lime.
You will be introduced to six of Ireland's finest drops which you will sample in 20ml measures.
Dive into the history of the whiskeys, learn the backstory of the distillery. You will gain an understanding of the various styles of the spirits on offer and what makes them different and unique to each other all whilst discussing the sensory overload delivered by each different glass. In this experience we really get behind the label and immerse!

Patrick was absolutely the best! He made us feel welcome even though I admitted to enjoying mostly scotch. I liked that we sampled a variety of Irish whiskeys that were top notch all in their own categories. Such great background and atmosphere at the Swan Bar. Would highly recommend for those who want to try a variety of Irish whiskeys.

We were lucky to find this tour online. Everything was great. Derek opened our eyes and taste buds to 6 delicious pours of six different Irish Whiskey’s. To top it all off, this tasting was in The Swan Bar and original Irish Pub run by a 3 generation family. Slainte!

Derek is passionate about his craft and did an amazing job telling the back story on all the whiskey we sampled. He took us down a journey for each brand including perfectly describing the tastes and smells you experience with each sample. This is experience is something you should not miss, located in an old pub near but not in Temple bar district let you enjoy the local culture. Derek knows his stuff and can also give you suggestions for other must sees in Dublin.

Definitely worth booking. Derek is such a professional and is so knowledgable about Irish Whiskey. It was a great venue and all the guests enjoyed the evening and the whiskey ofcourse. I would highly reccomend this evening to anyone visiting the city.
