Ramen and Gyoza are becoming even more famous than Sushi and Tempura in the world. Ramen is a noodle dish with delicious soup and many different toppings. In this class, we will make home-style Ramen. Gyoza is a dumpling with minced pork and vegetable stuffing. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to make Ramen and gyoza at your home? (*We will make the soup from the scratch. We don’t use instant package.)

Wonderful class for beginners or experienced cooks. Great way to learn about Japanese cooking. There were many steps, but Yuca does a great job of breaking the steps down so that you always know what to do next. And at the end, you get to eat the ramen and gyoza, and you don’t have to clean any dishes.

What an amazing cooking class! YUCa welcomed us into her home and taught us step by step how to make delicious ramen and gyoza dishes. Because I don't eat meat, she was able to adjust the ingredients for a vegetarian version. Her passion for teaching and cooking offers travelers an authentic experience in Japanese cuisine and culture. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality provide a welcoming atmosphere that makes every participant feel like a neighbor. Her class is super organized and so engaging that I didn't want it to end. I highly recommend this experience with YUCa!

The class was lovely, Yuca was extremely kind and answered all our questions. She made the experience very comfortable and relaxing. Learned so much and I would 100% have wanted to do her other classes!

If I could rate this higher than only 5 then I absolutely would! She welcomed us into her private home and was the epitome of kindness and professionalism, eager to initiate and join our conversations and learn about where we were all from.
My partner is a chef by trade and I am an armature at best, she caters for everyone and was excited to answer all our questions and share her knowledge. Her passion for what she does is evident in how much joy she shares throughout the experience and her warm hospitality made us feel so welcome.
I would recommend YUCa’s Japanese Cooking classes to anyone that will listen, we even walked away with some VERY kawaii merch as souvenirs from our visit. My partner and I cannot wait to join another class in the future!!

Yuca is so organized & clean. Everything was ready when we went there. She shared little tips that honestly are super helpful and will never know through YouTube videos. She’s so kind & genuine. Very soft & bubbly demeanor. She honored my vegetarian request and prepared a vegan Ramen ahead of time. Highly recommend her classes!!

Yuca san was so lovely and enthusiastic, the cooking class was so much fun! My 11 year old daughter and I took the class together, and we had such a great time! Yuca san is so knowledgeable about the food preparation and cooking, she loves it! We made gyoza and ramen and it was delicious, we will be making it at home for sure. After the class we went to a local supermarket where Yuca san helped us identify each of the ingredients we used, we asked lots of questions about soy sauces, chili sauces and other market ingredients. When we return to Japan, we will do another cooking class with Yuca san.

Cooking Ramen and Gyoza with Yuca was an experience the entire family enjoyed and will remember as one of the highlights of our holiday in Japan. Yuca was knowledgeable and the cooking class easy to follow and alot of fun. The Ramen was to die for and the gyoza much easier to make than expected. Definitely cooking them when we return back home to Australia. Cooking with Yuca is an experience I would recommend for the whole family.

This was an overall great experience during our trip to Japan. YUCa is very sweet and speaks perfect English which is nice. The Japanese food that we cooked together was great and we wrapped up the experience with a trip to the market where YUCa explained products used in typical Japanese cuisine.

Such a wonderful experience! Great food, cozy atmosphere, and Yuca is AMAZING. You are missing out if you don’t plan this activity. If I get the chance to visit Japan again I would do this activity again. Thank you Yuka for such a fun time. :)
