Marti was wonderful, and the food we cooked as a family was some of the best we enjoyed our entire trip! She was very engaging, skilled and fun to work with. She explained things very well, and made our evening very enjoyable. Her kitchen was beautiful, and had everything we needed to make and then enjoy a delicious meal.

We had an awesome cooking experience with Marty at her apartment in the 7th District. We made a traditional meal of Hungarian Goulash, chicken hortobagy and a chocolate/nut layer cake for desert. We drank wine, cooked, chatted about Hungarian culture and history and ate our wonderful dinner. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with Marty!!

We were looking for something different and this was perfect. We went to a private apartment where we met Viki who was to be our teacher and hostess for the evening. She was delightful. It was just the three of us and we helped make a four course meal of a dip with bread, goulash, lechton(a traditional pepper, tomato dish) and bread pudding. We had wine paired with each. The food was delicious. While cooking Viki gave us historical information about the food of Budapest. We left feeling like we had made a new friend.
