Your host Elena, also known as Lili, is a Romanian ex-scientist turned interior designer with a deep love for food and travel! Elena has visited over 40 countries and has fascinating stories to share. Join Elena for a fun and relaxed meal and immerse yourself into the Irish culture. Elena lives in a modern home with stunning panoramic sea views of the Irish Sea in Skerries, a former fishing village. Join her at her dining table and enjoy a healthy, gourmet meal that combines Romanian, local Irish and international cuisine! Your menu includes dishes such as traditional Irish beef stew cooked in Guinness with brown bread, Romanian beetroot soup with lovage and creme fraiche, and grilled sea bass on a bed of creamy mash and garlic spinach served with beer or wine. You will end your meal with a dessert like upside-down mixed berry cake and fresh cream. On days they are available, Elena's partner Patrick and their eight-year-old daughter, Nadia will join your cultural dining experience!

We had a beautiful dinner including appetizers and drinks, borsh, duck with potatoes and salad, Tiramisu for dessert.
It was fun to spend the evening with Lili, Patrick, and Natasha. We would strongly recommend having dinner with them when you are in Dublin or Skerries.

I was looking for an interactive cooking experience for myself, my husband and our 13-year old son, and I'm so happy I found Lili and her family! She was so wonderfully welcoming, and not only did she make a great meal, but she took us all around Skerries - which is really beautiful and so very different than Dublin. Beyond food, we love making meaningful connections when we travel, and this was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. I'd highly recommend this and send our thanks to Lili, Patrick and Nadia!

An absolutely delightful evening: drinks on the rooftop terrace overlooking the Skerries shoreline, followed by a spectacular multi-course dinner. But best is all is the conversation with Elena and Patrick - a unique and unforgettable part of our visit to Ireland!
