Enjoy a walking tour of Gibraltar's Upper Rock with an experienced English speaking local guide.
We will take you around the Upper Rock nature reserve as we walk up the Rock and along the way you will see many of the attractions that Gibraltar has to offer. You will see the military and historical sites, get the chance to walk up the famous Med Steps and you will also get the chance to meet some of our world famous Monkeys.
Please note we have listed the Tours duration as 3 hours, 3 minutes. This is only an approximate time because different people walk at a different pace. If you need to the Tour to finish at a certain time please let us know.

Great tour with lots of information on the history of Gibraltar provided by Stephen.
Loads of cracking views across the bay to Spain and Africa which are great for photographs and also for proposing to your partner which I did at the highest point on the tour.

Stephen took our private group of 10 for a beautiful walk onto Gibraltar rock showing us the less know paths and views. He was always kind, patient and enthusiastic and never hurried us even though we took quite
a lot of time. We left with a great sense of Gibraltar and all our questions were perfectly answered. He is a wonderful guide and I highly recommend booking a tour with him if you are curious enough to see more than just Gibralar town.

What an amazing experience spending the day exploring and learning about the history of this incredible landmark. Stephen is an excellent and knowledgeable guide and tailored the tour to match our fitness level. We saw everything, including lots of Barbary apes, and even discovered that some of the trails we walked were used in the opening of a Bond movie! Highly recommend!

This tour was so amazing. Stephen was very friendly, great in communication, and very accommodating as to what areas we wanted to explore to make sure we were able to do so. He was also very knowledgeable of the history of the area as well as the current state of affairs and made sure that we moved at a pace that worked for all of us. The views were spectacular! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone coming to the area, my daughter even said this was her favorite part of our whole trip out to the area as well as Spain!

We had a nice and memorable day on 11.March in Gibraltar. The weather was perfect, and the guide we chose to have a really nice trip, Stephen Hill, made the day absolutely fantastic. The walk is called Upper Rock Walking Tour.
Our goal was to reach thr Rock while learning a bit of the history of Gibraltar. And Stephan Hill delivered.
After hiking up the west side, Stephan tok us down a bit and then headed up the Mediterrainien Steps with a fantastic view; can absolutely be recommended!
If you ever goes to Gibraltar, we recommend to use four hours with Stephen Hill. You will not regret it.

My partner and I went on a day in December when it was just ourselves on the tour, so Stephen was able to accommodate everything we wanted to see around the Rock. He was very well informed and we enjoyed learning about the local history (and seeing some monkeys!) before getting back to our cruise ship in good time.

This was an amazing tour! We were there with our family and had such an awesome time. The guide was fabulous and made it really fun for the kids and made sure that the pace wasn't too fast or too slow. It was A LOT of walking, but just right for our family! It was an amazing tour and I would highly recommend it!

Stephen's tour was really informative and was a big factor in our short visit to Gibraltar being enjoyable. The history was interestingly presented and the information about what it is like to live in Gibraltar was very informative. Stephen only takes small groups so there is plenty of opportunities to tap his knowledge. Whilst Stephen will adapt his pace to the fitness level of the group you do need to be reasonably active to get the most out of this tour. Communication prior to the tour was prompt and helpful. We recommend this tour for getting the most out of your visit to Gibraltar.
