The sauna was brilliant and our host was very lovely we had delicious soup and it was great fun

We were a group of friends that decided to do something special for one of our friends' birthday. The current location of the Wandering Owl sauna is just ideal, just a 40 minute walk, or 10 minute bus ride from Tromsø city center. The location is fantastic, right, by the sea, facing west (i.e. sunny). The sauna is amazing – wood-heated. The staff were also super chill and service-minded. We had a perfect afternoon, that went by too quickly. I think we'll come back another time.

It has been an amazing way to spend a couple of hours relaxing surrounded by incredible nature and a great view.
We really enjoyed spending time between relaxing in the warm and cozy sauna and refreshing ourselves by soaking our feet in the cold sea water!
The sauna was placed on a beach with great view and it was very easy to reach, just outside Tromsø.
Very nice idea and very friendly staff!

We really appreciated this experience.
To be in a swimsuit outside during winter (-2°C) is amazing ! It replaces the traditionnal cold water well after a sauna session. Snow was rather ice, so we can't test it but we enjoyed wind !
Besides, view outside is wonderful : sunset on mountain / lake at 180° !!
Food was delicious and staff very friendly.
We had some difficilties to find the place with only the GPS but staff helped us very kindly.
Very good experience and very nice pictures :)
