Absolutely horrible experience on Viator - I wouldn’t recommend this trip or Viator to anyone. I booked a private tour with my family (the most expensive tour I have ever booked) of Alhambra and received a confirmation email from Viator that we were all set. My family and I drove 2.5 hours from Marbella to Granada and after waiting 30 minutes past the supposed start time I called Viator and was told that the company never received our confirmation (even though I got an email from Viator that confirmed the tour and payment) and there was nothing they could do that day. They merely said that we could come back the next day for the tour, which wasn’t practical considering I have 2 young kids and that’s an additional 5 hours in the car, or get a refund. I was hoping Viator would be able to work with us to spend the night and take the tour the next day, or even offer us a discount on the tour (to again help cover the cost of spending the night in Granada) but nothing of the sort was offered. Viator clearly messed up and did nothing to help fix the problem at hand, and because of that we wasted an entire day of our vacation for a tour that never happened. To make matters worse, by that time of the day all tickets were sold out so we never even got to enter the palace at all. My wife has waited 10 years (since we got engaged in spain) to see the Alhambra and left bitterly disappointed.

We had a fantastic experience, solid 5 stars. Our tour guide Gema was both knowledgeable and engaging, sharing with us the history of Alhambra and Spain and keeping the children entertained. Great morning and wonderful memories

We did the tour of the Alhambra with Alba, an excellent guide with great knowledge of the history of Granada and who also made the tour very enjoyable and entertaining.
He also gave us very useful recommendations. A pleasure to have shared this experience with her!! A 10 for Alba!!

We chose a family visit with an Italian guide. Jaime our guide accompanied us and guided us through the immense Alhambra, explaining the history well. He was passionate and competent and also involved the children who were with us (9 and 8 years old). I highly recommend the guided tour because the Alhambra is very large. The agency made the reservations for the tickets and we were given an appointment with the guide. The visit lasted about three hours but we had a lot of fun. It was tiring but very beautiful.
