The food was great! Our tour guide Zoltan, was very informative and fun! Te food was great. We especially liked the langos.

In a city full of phenomenal food, this tour was a highlight! Our tour guide George was not only friendly and knowledgeable as one might expect, but turned out to be the sort of good company you might enjoy from a long-time friend. Along with samplings of such typical Budapest delights as poppy seed strudel, langos, local meats, cheeses, an assortment of paprikas fresh and prepared, goulash, breads, and wines (need I say, come hungry!) we enjoyed a wonderful conversation about the history of the city and the sites we were seeing. George entertained all our questions and afterwards, was generous enough to share his family recipe for goulash. Overall, the tour was a great value for the price and we can't say enough about what a wonderful time we had. As foodies who travel pretty extensively, this food tour was among the best we've experienced.

Zoltan was fabulous! We had five couples and we all LOVED his knowledge of Budapest, Hungarian history and I’d the local food and drink!!! Five stars for sure. It is a “must do” if you are visiting this wonderful city!

What an amazing day tasting the best of Budapest. Our tour guide Gyogy (George) was so knowledgeable, friendly and made the tour so enjoyable. The food was delicious! The most amazing strudel, langos and Hungarian stew! We would highly recommend Secret Food Tours.

George was a great tour host, not only did he take us to some great restaurants and spots to eat but he also talked about the history of Budapest while on the tour.
All in all it was an awesome experience and we actually returned to 2 of the spots at a later date the food was that good.
Have and will continue to recommend this tour to anyone visiting Budapest.
