We toured with Isaac. Isaac was super knowledgeable and lead the tour in a very fun and laid back manner. The lead ins to the food we were trying at each stop along with his down to earth and complete explanations made the tour both delicious and intellectually enjoyable. The amount of personal connection and respect shown at each stop was a testament to the care and love shown to and given between Isaac and the owners/employees. Isaac was careful to constantly check on the group, we toured..walking in 95+ deg heat. The brisket at Pecans...mouth watering; tacos at Revolve..awesome; stuffed peppers at Ebb and Flow..careful crafted and delightful and last, but definitely not least emporium pies..every thing was sinful. Each stop and dish was excellent and Isaac approach to the tour, intergrating himself personally into our experience made it a MUST if your ANYWHERE near Deep Ellum.

Isaac is super knowledgeable and he was super easy to be with. Yummy and fun tour that included comments on old and new parts of the neighborhood.

The food, history and atmosphere of Deep Ellum was excellent. The tour the guide, Isaac, really made the day something extra special. Knew how to cater for the day and show the best the area has to display. Great guy. Would recommend to anyone wanting a good time overall.

Isaac did an amazing job! He was very knowledgeable of not only the area but the city. He also provided us with different options of food from the Deep Ellum area. We got the upgraded drink option and was not disappointed by his selections. He knew the history of the restaurants and buildings. Isaac told us he would send a list of other places in Dallas to check out and man did he deliver! I would absolutely love to have Isaac give us another tour!

We enjoyed our Deep Ellum Food Tour and learning about the history of the area while dining on delicious food. Elizabeth was a wonderful tour guide. She told us the history of the area and about the people along with providing a diverse menu of food. The portions sizes were good and allowed us to try a variety of foods. We enjoyed the stop in the local meat market, meeting Tony the owner and the Rocket Fizz Candy store. It brought back memories of childhood. I highly recommend this experience. And Oh my the pie shop!! :)

My husband and I took the 11:00 am tour on the 18th with Issac and had a wonderful time! Issac was a fantastic tour guide. He communicated with us the morning of so we would know how to locate him. He was very knowledgeable about the area and went out of his way to ensure we had a great time. We booked the drink package as well and weren’t disappointed. The brisket from Pecan Lodge was incredible but we enjoyed all of the stops and I had a hard time picking my favorite. I would absolutely recommend this tour and you will be doing yourself a disservice if you don’t tour with Issac. Thank you Issac and we will look you up the next time we are in town!

We're locals but despite having visited the Deep Ellum neighborhood several times, each location we went to on the food tour was somewhere we hadn't been before, which was a nice surprise. Isaac is a very personable tour guide and we felt like we were in good hands the whole time.
