On our Secret Food Tour: San Francisco - North Beach and Chinatown, you’ll experience the most iconic parts of “The City by the Bay.” Our experienced guides will take you on a delicious journey through the Gold Rush days of the Barbary Coast. While most tour companies only focus on one neighborhood over the other, we dive deep into both to offer you a taste of the best of both worlds. On your journey, you’ll bite into pizza with a surprise topping straight from the Pacific bay! You will explore West Coast coffee culture, savor dim sum like you’ve never tasted, and find yourself wanting more of our secret bite! You’ll also discover the inner workings of our world famous cable cars, investigate the naughty red light district, uncover where the “The Godfather” was written and conceived, and wander through the alleys where the original miner 49’ers cashed in their sacks of new found gold. All in one afternoon!

We've visited friends in San Francisco and stopped in Chinatown, but never toured. We decided to do this tour and had a great time. We learned about the city, architecture, and history (in a fun way with lots of stories and not dry) along with tasting food. He had lots of tips for the places we were visiting and where to go. All well organized. Our friends had an elementary age child along. The guide was playful and enjoyed having the child along, not irritated. It was 3 hours with stops. There weren't places to sit at every stop, so we scouted places for the child to sit and rest. It was a little tiring for adults. A couple of spots where we paused were in a park so the child could play and take a break from the listening part. We enjoyed this tour.

It was a great afternoon spent with Corey. We were 5 locals entertaining 5 friends from SoCal and another friend from Brazil. He took us to the Cable car museum, The Coffee Movement, Golden Gate fortune cookie factory, The House of Dimsum, Golden Boy for clam pizza and finally Alimento for Gelato. There was lots to eat and Corey also educated us on SF history along the way, that even many of us locals, were unaware of. He also made sure that we didn’t have any climbing ( which SF streets are notorious for having). He was very polite and accommodating. It was altogether a very enjoyable afternoon spent with friends. We highly recommend this easy paced walking food tour! Thank you so much Corey!

We live in the Bay Area, but decided to do a walking/food tour of two of our favorite SF neighborhoods since we had such a great time doing these in Europe. Glad we did. Jamie was a very informative guide and we learned a lot. Plus some really great food stops.

I love food tours. They are a great way to find out about the local food scene. Especially in a diverse city like San Francisco. This food tour was great for that reason, but it also has elements of local history and cultural explanations too. In particular, I love that the tour started at the Cable Car Museum, with a trip inside. It gave the tour that extra element of depth and enjoyment to not only eat the diverse foods but to learn about the city. Jamie was our guide, and he was knowledgeable and a great story teller. I highly recommend this tour.

This was a really nice tour with a good mix of history and local sights, as well as a good selection of foods to try. The dim sum was a nice varied selection, and the pizza in the Italian neighborhood was really good! Our guide, Jamie, was really knowledgeable and fun to talk to. The walk was enjoyable too, but that might have been cause the weather phenomenal.
