This was incredible! Chico was an amazing guide. He truly loves nature and was excited to share his passion with us. The trip is not easy (physically) so I would recommend it to someone with some kayaking experience

We joined Michael and christiano for an entire week of kayaking through the Paraty bay. The trip was carefully, professionally and beautifully planned with the best local restaurants and really nice hostels along the way. Looks like these guys have a friend on every beach and island. On the most remote fishermen villages there was somone waiting for us with a nice dinner and a clean bed and shower. They even knew on which beach to stop for a rest to take a short hiking trip to the most amazing secret waterfalls, natural pools or viewing point.
Highly recommend!

Not only is Mamagua a hidded gem but is Michael a very special tour guide who makes you feel like you are traveling with a local friend. My personal highlights of the tour were the hike up to the little sugar loaf with an amazing view over the whole bay, kayaking through the mangrove forest islands and having fresh fish and maracuja (passion fruit) caipirinha on the terrasse of a little fisherman's restaurant during sun set.
100% recommend to book this tour if you are into nature & good food.
P.S. I wasn't a big kayaking fan before doing the tour. Now I am - really enjoyed it:)

Our 3 day trip with Paraty Explorers was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It wasn't just kayaking – we got to experience remote villages, ate fantastic fish, went on a beautiful hike and swam in a natural pool below a waterfall.
Traveling with Michael didn't feel like being with a guide, but with a friend. He perfectly knew the area and we could feel that he cared about being connected and supporting the local communities.
We were a group of 6, so Michael organized the trip at our desired date. Also, he adapted to the weather and our motivation to keep going or just relax.
This is with no doubt a fully recommended trip for anyone who seeks adventure, nature and fresh seafood!
