Zenab is an excellent guide who will make sure you see some of the REAL Cairo outside of the normal tourist areas. I felt extemely safe, very well taken care of, very at ease, and had all my questions answered! The tour is also very flexible. I took an interest in the fortress we passed and added it at the end of the tour as an extra! The car was clean and virus safety was given high importance. If you are wondering if Egypt is safe, just come. You will have an amazing experience. All around geat tour, highly reccomend if you want to meet some great people and gain a deeper understand of life here.

We had a great tour of the City of the Dead and the Alabaster Mosque with our phenomenal guide Fatmia with Tree of Life Tours. She was very knowledgeable so it was really interesting to speak with her about past and present Egyptian history. On our way back to our hotel she treated us to fresh squeezed sugar cane juice which was delicious. We would highly recommend this tour with Fatmia!!

Me and my husband stayed in Cairo for 6 days for our anniversary, and we had Tour Guide M.Gouda with Tree of Life Day Tours for three tours! I can honestly say we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! It was magical. He was so informational and passionate about everything he told us, he explained everything clearly and answered every question. At the end of the week, he’s practically family. He’s went above and beyond our expectations and has truly gave us a once in a life time Egyptian Adventure. From the interesting ways of transportation on the roads, to touring the Great Pyramids of Giza, Camel riding in the desert, to seeing the great Sphinx, to visiting the Egyptian Museum and seeing the history and real mummies, to exploring the Bazar and meeting the locals, to touring the City of the Dead, to visiting two of the most beautiful Mosques, to the Cairo Tower, 614 feet tall, over looking the beautiful land, to felucca boat riding on the Nile River, to the highest point of Mokkatam to see Cairo at night, to eating Koshary which was delicious! He has truly opened up our eyes and gave a better understanding and a deeper appreciation for this wonderful place. I’d recommend Tour Guide M.Gouda with Tree of Life Day Tours to anyone, there’s no better tour guide in all of Egypt. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Don't book this tour! The price for this tour is way too high for what you get. My tour was only 2,5 hours with driving time. The tour guide was a nice man and he tried his best but I felt a bit uncomfortable with him touching me the whole time. The mosque itself is really beautiful but not for 60. The actual city of the dead is just visiting one or two buildings and if you are lucky a home of a person who lives there, the rest is a 2 minute ride through a small portion of it.

Our tour guide Mady was extremely knowledgable and was able to teach us a lot of stuff ans challenge the knowledge we did know already. He was very attentive to our needs and made sure we had the opportunity to ask questions and review our own curiousities of a new culture and religion.
The city of the Dead was interesting to see, it is a pretty quick drive through but the history of it was very interesting to learn about.

Unfortunately another tour that our money was wasted on. Our tour guide told us that this tour was in bad taste. She said that the people that live in the City of the Dead were not happy to have us in there area. They feel that this tour was being taken to show them little respect for their living conditions. Please save your money unless you don't mind feel very demoralized.

Great guide, charming, very animated and informative, I really enjoyed talking with him.
My only complaint was that the tour was too short. It was supposed to be a half day tour and it was only 2 and a half hours including travel time, so I saw very little of the City of the Dead, it would have been nice to see more, shops in the cemetery.

This tour was absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend it! Out guide went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and show us around, even organising us an evening dinner cruise as we had no other plans. really highly recommended! Shokran habibi!
