12 Days Private Tour of Turkey

We took a two-week tour of Turkey with Felicity Travel in May 2024. Ertunga and his wife Maria organized a wonderful trip for 5 of us. They took care of every detail, choosing interesting sites to see, and incorporated outdoor adventures we wanted to include such as boat rides, swimming, and hiking and … a sunrise hot-air balloon ride! The hotels and meals were all incredible. Vicdi was a very good driver and spoiled us, stopping at vegetable stands to buy cherries, apricots, and the most delicious strawberries we ever tasted. The van was comfortable and had a map displayed which was very helpful. Cold water and wi-fi were always available.
Every detail was covered and we learned so much from Ertunga about the long history of the region. I highly recommend touring Turkey with Felicity Travel. It is a marvelous way to see Turkey and you’ll get to experience all this wonderful country has to offer. Ertunga was the ultimate host – always making sure things were ok. Plus he’s a really nice guy!

Let me start by saying, Ertunga and his team at Felicity Travels are simply the best! From the time, I first contacted him (two months before our travel), I found Ertunga to be a great combination of professional excellence with personal touch. Throughout the planning process and even during the trip, Ertunga was responsive and patient in answering questions, adapting scheduling requests, and addressing queries. Everyone on his team (2 different drivers, 2 guides – Nilay and Ugur plus Ertunga himself) went out of their way to make sure we had a stress-free and blissful vacation.
The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and eager to share the history of the amazing places we were seeing. The drivers were on-time, every time. The transportation was very comfortable, was stocked with water and soft drinks and even had Wi-Fi!
Thank you Ertunga and team for making our short trip to Turkey so memorable! I would recommend Felicity Travel & Ertunga, unhesitatingly, to any of my family or friends.

We picked Felicity Travel and Ertunga Ecir as our tour operator based on excellent reviews. During the planning phase, the company / Mr Ertunga responded without delay, positively and constructively, and amended and adjusted the itinerary and hotels as we requested. After 14 days of travel with Mr Ertunga as our guide (and an experienced and safe driver) we conclude that the tour turned out to be better than expected, with so many excellent sites under way giving us the highligths of Greek, Roman and Ottoman times, the Christian influence and Turkish history, both old and contemporary. The hotels were over all excellent, the majority being smaller boutique type establishments. We (4 people) had a comfortable and spacious mini-bus, and there was always cold water and a variety of soft drinks and snacks available free of charge. Mr Ertunga was a knowledgeable, service-minded and well-organized man.

We recently embarked on a 14-day journey through the beautiful country of Turkey, thanks to our private tour guide Ertunga Ecir, owner of Felicity Travel, our experience was wonderful.

Ertunga and his team are all very professional and responsible. Before the trip, we worked together efficiently to create a private custom itinerary that fits our style of vacation, including dates, accommodations, tourist attraction/activities, transportation methods etc. Once we started, we are happy to find everything was well organized and smoothly executed.

As a guide, we definitely learned many interesting facts and stories about Turkey and enjoyed Ertunga's company. Both factors contribute to our pleasant travel experience! As a tour operator, we also appreciate Felicity Travel's passion to make clients happy as much as they can. For example, after a week in the trip, we craved for having some Asian food (which is quite rare in Turkey), and Ertunga were able to find two decent Chinese restaurants for us. That is nice.

Turkey is a great country to visit, amazing people, culture, history and scenery. If you ever plan to visit, we highly recommend Ertunga @ Felicity Travel.

Thanks to Ertunga and Maria for putting together a comprehensive and enjoyable trip and for amazing communication before and during the trip. We had two different guides. One in Istanbul, Mustafa; and Ozgur the rest of the trip. Both are knowledgeable, attentive and responsible. Ozgur never left us at the hotel without checking if we liked our accommodations. He also had no problem adjusting our itinerary if our 11y.o., got tired. Both driver were very attentive and careful. We felt being taking care of and safe.
Highly recommend this company.

We (a group of 5 friends from Boston) are just back from a 12-day private tour of Turkey organized by Ertunga Ecir.
We loved the tour and really appreciate all the work that Ertunga put in organizing the tour and making sure that everything went perfect.
We highly recommended Ertunga's services to everybody who wants to have a well organized private tour of this fascinating country.

My family and I spent 2 weeks visiting Turkey. All arrangements made by Felicity Travel were wonderful. Ertunga prepared our itinerary. On the eve of our trip, Mari his wife sent us all information for our arrival and was available all the time for any questions we had. Our guide in Istanbul (2days) was Ece and she was great and sweet . Ozgur was our guide the rest of our stay (11days) and traveled with us all the way to Cappadocia. He was wonderful. Took care of everything for us and helped make our experience unforgettable.

Ozgur recommended many beautiful spots for lunch & he is very knowledgeable about historical sites. He makes the trip so enjoyable, we all fell in love with Turkiye. From local joints with lovely food to restaurants with scenic views to die for. He is very accommodating, helpful & caring, not just the ordinary guide who is there because he/she has to. Thank you Ozgur for everything!

Tour was excellent. Our driver, Edogan and our guide Umut were top notch. Very helpful, accomodating and always ready to please us. Food was very good, and many times we went to try high quality home made food, not touristic restaurants.
On our way to Cappadoccia, while buying juices and crafts from a lady (Aysha) at the entrance of a Ronan accueduct, she invited us to visit her house and garden and we had a great time. I think the tour could add some visits like his that allows visitors to interact and better understand the local culture.

Our first time in Turkey and it was awesome! Food were all delicious and all the cities (Istanbul, Canakkale, Kusadasi, Pamukkale, Antalya, Konya, Cappadocia) we visited were beautiful. Our driver Vecdi was friendly, very experienced and always on time. Vehicle was good and clean too. Our tour guide Mutlu Bulut was very friendly, caring and helpful especially with my senior citizen dad who couldn't walk so much. Mutlu had a vast knowledge of the history of all the places we visited which was excellent! Overall we would say it was a trip that we would never forget. Thanks to Ertunga Ecir (owner of Felicity Travel), Mutlu and Vecdi for this wonderful and unforgettable trip. Will definitely recommend to all our family and friends!
