Quang Trung, my student guide was extremely informative & interesting and spoke excellent English. He also managed to steer me safely through the crazy Hanoi traffic! Highly recommended, enjoyable & great way to see the special sights

Harry (Hiep Deng) was a very knowledgeable tour
guide and was willing to tweak the itinerary based on
what I wanted to eat (I was only one on the tour that
evening). I learned that most of the beloved
Vietnamese foods we eat in Canada/US (pho, bahn mi)
is basically breakfast foods! (Lunch and dinner is
usually rice) WHO KNEW? Harry knew! Funny guy too.
Tasted bun cha, squatted with the locals for bahn cuon,
local draft beer and pho cuon, ate sticky rice and
coconut ice cream, bahn mi and beef pho. Yum

Great tour with Harry! The food was amazing obviously but the best was all the information that harry gave us about it- ingredients, where was this from, traditions, when to eat it.... learned so much about vietnamese food!

Overall a very good introduction to the street food culture in Hanoi. Our guide Harry was very informative and adapted to our requests. He walks pretty fast though!

Haley took us to so many excellent places. The food was very authentic and was dishes we never would have known to try ourselves.
Even though it was Chinese New Years and many places she wanted to take us were closed, she was resourceful enough to find the next place for us to eat regardless. My favourite had to be the Vietnamese Egg Coffee. Thanks for the great experience Haley!!!

We had a great time on the food tour with our guide (Tea).

By the time we wrapped up, our bellies were bursting from all the different foods that we sampled. Be warned.. the portions are generous and 2 people will end up leaving a lot on the plate from the 3rd restaurant onwards.

We wrapped up with coffee at a famous cafe on the 1st floor of an old building. Given the small, narrow, dilapidated entrance and worn out seating area, we were quite surprised how popular and packed it was. Attached a couple of pics of Cafe Dinh.

Highly recommend taking this walking food tour of Old Quarters (especially with Christine Nguyen)! Our guide was amazingly informative and taught us so much about what we were eating and especially HOW to eat it. The food we tried was honestly just as amazing, and things I would not have known to order on my own. Thank you Christine for an amazing experience!

We were a group of 4 and we thought we did our homework on food places. Christine acknowledged we hit some of the good local spots. Little did we know, we were in for a surprise.

She is the EPITOME of local cuisine. Not only was she funny, knowledgeable, personable but she was, most importantly, welcoming. She really knows what she's doing and is very in touch with the local community.

If you're looking for a fun time, AMAZING local food you will 100% not find on Google Maps / Any food review app then Christine is the one for you.

We had our tour with Christine Nguyen as our guide! She's so friendly and funny, taught us how to say Vietnamese words correctly as well as eat the food the way locals eat it. Our group has definitely been eating it wrong the whole time, and the way she showed us to eat it was definitely a game changer. Highly recommend Christine as your guide! :)
