Used Hop on Hop off services during last weekend in Tbilisi.
Would like to recognize and express gratitude to Natia Kekelia who helped us to match the best excursions for as well as assisted with general information and tips about the city.
She was very kind, professional, and helpful. I would recommend using her help next time you visit Tbilisi.

It turned out to be a private tour as I was the only one who booked but it was great. The old town is lovely and the guide took me to some beautiful places, always paying attention to my needs and was very knowledgeable. Definitely recommended, and I got some fantastic pictures too!

Definitely worth doing the hop on and hop off tour. We start all of the city in this way and loved it. Also there was a great deal to have excursions outside of the city. It was breathtaking and the tour guides were well versed, spoke clearly. Best thing we ever did to explore Georgia for the first time.

This was by far the best city tour I have done. The guide was great and very knowledgeable . I was the only English speaker in the group and he made sure everything was explained and translated for me . So much more personal and informative than an open top bus with pre recorded commentary - thank you so much

In order to make most of a few days in the city, the bus tour gets you quickly around the city at a reasonable cost to all the significant highlights of the city.

Having done several 'hop on-hop off' bus tours in various holiday destinations we decided to spend our first day in Tbilisi on the red line city sightseeing bus. The complete circuit is 90 minutes long as is worth completing. We then decided where to get on and off for the second circuit. It wasn't too busy and we easily got good seats. The commentary was a little late and we were upon the site when the commentary began, but as ghevyeaffic was flow moving, it didn't spoil it.
Lile, our tour guide was amazing, she could not have been more helpful and went over and above for us when we rejoined the bus later that night. We asked her to recommend us a good Georgian restaurant, which she did. She even phoned them to check they had availability!! During a 10 minute stop at Freedom square and to speed up our visit to the restaurant, she hailed us a taxi which took us straight to restaurant door. She even phoned the restaurant to check that we had arrived safely and were happy with her recommendation!
Thank you do much!
This young lady is an asset to the company!!!!

This specific Hop-on-hop-off tour is run by the outlet adjoining the Onegin Rooms hotel on Pushkin Street at Freedom square.
Not to be confused with other Hop-on-hop-off services because of the very unique nature of this tour which consists of a few stops but is actually a combination of a bus tour and walking tour with an very informed guide. You don't really get off this bus because it is a full tour.
The one we took had the excellent Mika, who spoke very good English and despite the fact that my wife and I were the only English speaking guests on the bus, she did a wonderful job of ensuring that we were always part of the experience and never once felt left out.
The full tour is the one to take as this provides the best value for money. This covers Tbilisi City and includes the Jvari Monastery and Mtskheta township.
They provide a bottle of water at the reception at the strat of the tour but given the almost full day nature of the tour, I'd suggest you carry another water bottle with you.
The stops cover some of the key areas but the most interesting part for us was always the walking tours where Mika would explain the background and history of the specific landmark and surroundings. Her knowledge of the background of monuments and history of Tbilisi is simply outstanding.
Included in our itinerary was a stop of the largest Cathedral of Tbilisi - The Holy Trinity Cathedral. A magnificent building, though new, with a large area adjoining the Cathedral itself. When there, do try the special juice at the Café in the complex. There are some 4 flavours to choose from.
The views from the Jvari Monastery are simply beautiful and you can see the whole town of Mtskheta below.
Before you reach Mtskheta I strongly suggest you have a bite or carry something to eat while walking along. The one hour you get at Mtskheta on this tour may just be ok to sightsee the area provided you don't spend much time on a hot meal at a restaurant, which takes time to prepare and serve.
All in all it was a lovely experience of a bus tour and walking tour rolled into one.
We thoroughly enjoyed it.

A friend of mine recommended Hop on Hop off to us and we were greeted by the lovely owner of the agency and their kind and patient employee, Maria, who explained all the different excursions they offered. The first day we decided to take the city tour, which was nice and of a reasonable price. We were in a bus full of Russians and our guide, Miko Shakhdinarian, was kind enough to give all the explanations in English to us, too. Also there was a voice guide in English which was very useful. Miko gave us a lot of valuable information about the old town of Tbilisi and many of the monuments. We were also very fortunate to see a baptism ceremony in the Sameba Cathedral. Miko was very professional, attentive and spoke good English.
The same day we bought a tour of Kakheti (apparently joined with a partner agency) in which the next day we visited the Boodbe Monastery, Saint Nina cathedral, one of the oldest in Georgia, the red wine factory, a stop on the road to enjoy the local bread and cheese of Kakheti, and the city of love, Signagi where we had lunch together with a group of Russians, which were amazing and very kind. This excursion couldn't have been spectacular without the brilliant, amazing, talented and very hospitable guide, Julia. She gave us so much valuable information about all the sites and cared about all the individuals in the group, specially us. We will never forget her stories and sense of humor and kind heart. I definitely recommend Hop On Hop Off to all travelers.

The tour was well organized by the operator with about points of interest in the tour. There is continuous audio feed in English and Russian along the way with the guide providing live commentary during the stops. Some of the stops were not very impressive in that there was several minutes of historical explanations which could have been better with a visit to the actual landmark. The bus is comfortable and water is provided. The last stop at Mtskheta should be a bit longer since it is around 4Pm by the time we reach this stop and hunger sets in. So we could do only lunch and couldn’t explore this stop. All in all, good value for money and the tour wraps up around 6:30pm which is good
