Terrible guide who was impossible to understand. Kept turning his back to the group and imitating gun use followed by "boom boom" to explain certain battles. Please stop making crude jokes about Australians and New Zealanders, sheep jokes are tiring and old. Please also put a shirt on, I don't want to see my guides nipples when I have travelled days to such a sacred site. Its sad that this company runs tours like this without the respect that it deserves.

My experience with Crowded House Tours on my trip to Gallipoli was truly unforgettable. From the moment I was picked up at my hotel to meeting our knowledgeable host and gaining a deeper understanding of Gallipoli beyond what movies portray, every moment was exceptional. Our fantastic host, Borak (I hope I got the spelling right), was a treasure trove of information, laughter, and warmth, transforming what is usually a somber place into a delightful and engaging visit. I am immensely grateful to Crowded House for providing such a remarkable and enlightening experience. Thank you for creating unforgettable memories.

Wonderful tour with a knowledgeable guide. My great uncle died at the battle of Lone Pine & it was very moving to see his name.

We are currently on a 12 day crowded house tour which has been outstanding so far but today visiting Galipoli was exceptional. The tour guide Burak was able to gain information regarding my grandfather who faught at Galipoli and was injured. The entire family are so appreciative to get the history, photos and a copy of a letter sent on his behalf. Talk about going above and beyond! He included everyone in the bus, had a great sense of humor, we are overwhelmed at such an incredible outcome! Thankyou so much! Helen

6.30am hotel pick up in comfy air conditioned mini van. Interesting driving through Istanbul out onto the highway driving past the coastal towns, beaches and beautiful fields of sunflowers. 1.5hrs into the drive stopped at roadside cafe for bathroom and refreshment break for 30 minutes. Ecabet for lunch which was included in tour price - 1 hour stop so time to wander along by the water and see an amazing life-size reconstruction display of soldiers in the trenches and bronze statue - worth taking the short before getting onto your allocated mini van for the tour (12.30pm). We visited all the significant sites for the Gallipoli campaign which our guide Burak spoke knowledgeably about and had a booklet of maps and photos. We were never rushed however kept to a schedule to ensure we got to where we needed when we needed to. He was well versed in English and could speak well with an Aussie accent - told heaps of jokes and about Aussies and NZers who made up most of the guests - lots of laughs. He had a great sense of humour. Tour ended at Chunak Bair 4pm and back to Ecabet where we had short wait for the mini van to take us back to our hotel in Istanbul by 9pm, again stopping for 30 minute break half way back. Well organised, friendly and efficient staff. Would thoroughly recommend and instead of the 17 hour day we expected it was 14.5 hours so even better. Thank you Burak and our drivers.

Awesome trip with Crowded House. Great modern vehicle with air con. ( only recommendation would be to add wifi). Communication from start to end excellent- important for me as a solo traveller over 60. Our Tour Guide Hasan was a star. Excellent knowledge of this war involving NZ, Australia, Britain and Turkey. His picture booklet was great. We got taken across 10 sites and each were explained. If you get him, you will be lucky!. Transition township where we had lunch well organized also. Everything ran to time. Would highly recommend- Natalie New Zealand

As already stated, it's a long day but a well worth the trip. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and keen to pass on as much of it as possible during the short period together (the guides join the tour bus in the local area).
