A lot of historical information was provided, consequently a lot to absorb. David was very knowledgeable and we felt he was able to provide the history we were interested in ia manner that was very understandable.

Garry was a great tour guide. We previously took the castle guided tour and the witches tour previously in the day. With the private tour he shared stories and showed us sites that we previously did not see, the tour was 2.5hrs bit went very well and was a great person to have a conversation with. For the tour there was three of us, my wife being a history buff really enjoyed the conversation that Garry brought to the tour.

Robert, our guide, was very knowledgeable and accommodated us with shop and rest stops. He was very personable and pleasant. Only wished we had more time to spend in Edinburgh and had gone in to St. Giles Cathedral.

Robert led us on our walking tour and it could not have been better. We walked throughout Old Town - on and off the Royal Mile - and learned so much. Robert tailored the tour to our particular interests and was unbelievably knowledgeable about Scotland’s history and modern cultural and political issues. This is a must do!

We truly had an amazing tour with Robert. Let me preface that statement with the fact that Queen Elizabeth 2 had passed and was lying in state at St. Giles Cathedral when we were in Edinburgh. Iconic Tours gave us the option of cancelling, as our planned tour was of Old Town and many places were now inaccessible. We still very much wanted to tour and Robert made some wonderful adjustments to the three hours we spent with him. Robert had a fabulous sense of humor and was absolutely a wealth of information. We could not have asked for anything better. We did not feel like we missed anything as we went and saw many places not originally planned. We both highly recommend any tour with Robert. Thank to both Robert and Iconic Tours. The best!
