Definitely an unseen tour to be seen. Our small group was taken on a very intimate journey through dragon fruit factories, caught ferries to coconut islands, rode on mopeds through the forest, glided through the Mekong on a local sampan (think canoe) and cruised amongst the coconut canals.

Definitely recommend - we saw no other tourists and our guide Lana was all smiles and information!

This was a fantastic day out, away from Saigon with a very friendly and knowledgeable guide with excellent English! So much is included in the price - a/c transfer, riding on the back of a scooter, ferry crossings, a boat, coconut and dragon fruit tasting - all topped off with a delicious meal in a local village. Would recommend!

We had a great experience by joining a small group tour to Mekong Delta Ben Tre area. We visited a brick business, then a coconut farm, then a enjoyable bike hike to the restaurant in the middle of the countryside near Mekong river. Maybe the only flaw was the poor lunch, but at least I learnt hot to prepare fresh rolls with Vietnamese food! A special thank to our guide Vin, speaking a fluent English, always smiling and very knowledgeable!

We had a wonderful day - as you head deeper into the Mekong delta, via an ever decreasing size of modes of transport, you feel the slowing pace and peaceful atmosphere. The drive from Saigon was smooth - our driver Mr Thong was excellent and drove safely - and the stop at the Dragon fruit factory was a chance to stretch our legs as well as an interesting diversion. From the start, our lovely guide Finn gave us lots of interesting information and was ready to answer any questions. After two ferries, and leaving behind our minibus, we all jumped on scooters (we didn't have to drive them) to explore sights on the island. The scooter ride itself was great fun, on narrow tracks, surrounded by a profusion of plants and everyday rural life. We visited a coconut processing plant, a home where they were making brooms and mats and a home where they were making roofing materials from water coconut leaves In each place we were the only visitors and were greeted warmly - offered a fresh coconut in one place and no pressure at all to buy anything. The best part of the day was still to come - a magical canoe ride along the river and through narrow channels that meandered under a vaulted ceiling of palm leaves and on to a beautiful riverside home for lunch. We had some fantastic and fresh food - it changes each time we were told but we had some soup, barbecued fish spring rolls, pancakes, ginger chicken and steamed vegetables- served in the tranquil garden of a family home, surrounded by the sounds of birds, fish popping up from a nearby pond and, until he disappeared inside, the cheerful younger son of the family. After lunch, we had time for a rest on some hammocks before we headed back to Saigon. The only regret was not having my camera out to snap the kingfisher that perched on a nearby tree as we were having lunch. For a one day tour from Saigon, you really did get a feel for a different way of life- the big city seemed a long way away! It was a relaxing and well-organised tour - thanks especially to Finn for being such a considerate, knowledgeable and friendly guide. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed this 1 day tour out into the Mekong Delta. This truly was off the beaten track, and similar to other reviews, we didn’t encounter a single tourist. Putting to one side the unavoidable drive from/to HMC, the tour consisted of a number of visits to various local homes/businesses to experience genuine local life. Our trip included dragon fruit packing, coconut processing, broom making, making palm leaf roofing, a short sampan boat ride, a couple of ferry crossings, as well as a fantastic lunch at a family home. Much of the tour was on the back of mopeds which meant we really got up close to the countryside and the network of small roads/paths within the area. The tour guide Finn was first class and very knowledgable.
