Ally was such a wonderful tour guide. She was informative, humorous and mysterious. I would strongly suggest this tour to all first time visitors to Edinburgh.

This was a fantastic experience and the chance to enter the vaults of Edinburgh is not to be missed. Our guide Eric was very knowledgeable and took great care of the group. His storytelling enriched the experience. So glad I booked this tour!

I loved this tour! Our guide, Ally, was friendly and knowledgeable. The vaults themselves were creepy and interesting. Pretty sure an entity interacted with me down there! My bf swears up and down it wasn't him and I believe him!

An informative tour of a part of Edinbugh's history. Didn't know anything coming into the tour and came out with much learning! Would recommend for a spooky but informative time.

I booked this tour last minute and was not disappointed! Our tour guide Ally did a tremendously good job. She gave us loads of information about the history of the vaults and also managed to add to the eerie vibe of the place by her storytelling. Thank you very much for this great experience! :-)

James! James! James! What an energetic, amazing tour guide. He really kept our attention. He should be a teacher - the kids would love him! He was great. Nice guy and answered all of our questions. Tour was great- started above ground then went underground. Had to remember we weren’t in a basement because you enter through a building. Not as scary as I expected because the sun is still out at 9pm when we started our tour. I think it may have been more frightening on a cold winter night. I would definitely recommend and so happy we did it. We booked through GetYourGuide and had no issues whatsoever. The only complaint, which is beyond their control, is the first step entering the vault is the equivalent of 2 or 3 steps and was tough getting up so some people may need help.

The tour was appropriately creepy! The tour provided great insight into Edinburgh’s tortuous past. It was also amazing to see the elaborate underground vault system. Louisa was a fantastic tour guide!

Lousia was a great tour guide. Historical, friendly, scary, funny. The content is geared for adults but we took an eight-year-old who loved it.
