We begin with an early pickup in Rio de Janeiro to go to Angra dos Reis. Angra is Portuguese for 'small bay' and it is part of a grand complex of bays and hundreds of islands. The Ilha Grande is the most beautiful and famous of all the islands and it is the place we visit in this tour. When we arrive at Angra dos Reis, we go straight to the harbour to take a boat trip through the archipelago of Ilha Grande. We stop at 3 different places to swim, do some snorkeling, admire beautiful islands, see the crystal-clear water and appreciate the green colors of the Atlantic rain forest. If we are lucky, we will be able to see some turtles and a lot of fish. During the boat tour, we stop for lunch.

We were picked up in a luxury bus, there was a lot of travel on this trip so this made it very comfy. The boat was a real treat to, an old world wooden boat to ship us around to the islands. It was essentially a party boat with very loud music. The islands and beaches were great, enjoyed the experience.

Not as described. Bus took 4.5 hrs to get to Angra dos Reis from pick up. Boat was overcrowded with loud booming "club" music. Lunch was in a cafe on the beach not on the boat. Uncovered food swarming with flies 🤢. No safety instructions given un English on the boat. Not recommended

Wonderful experience. The beaches are beautiful, the diving with the fish is beyond words.
The guide Léo was very attentive and friendly.
Lunch is late, after 3:30 pm, but we were warned.

This was an absolutely fantastic tour. The bus was a little late but the group was in communication with us about the delay and they picked us up right from our hotel. The tour itself was fantastic with each beach location offering something new. The food was better than expected as well and the staff was very kind and accommodating. By the time it was over I felt like I had gotten the right value for what I paid and I felt fulfilled by the experience given.

Amazing experience visiting 3 areas to swim. The background was magic tic and truly enjoyable. Friendly people having a great time and dancing, what is not to like about this trip.
Highly recommend & and our guide Sylvia was very experienced and informative.

It was an awesome trip. I recommend the visit and commend the tour guides for an excellent work. The day started with a pick-up, filled by the boat ride. The sea adventures and stops were cool and the lunch was well organized.

It was a real disaster. The tour was in Spanish, the guide spoke in Portuguese, the little he spoke and explained, we never went to Angra, we waited 90 minutes for the boat, they gave us lunch at 4:00 p.m. and the food was impossible to eat, horrible.
They made me lose a day of my vacation!!!!

Leo was the best guide, he made sure we understood and enjoy our trip. The boat was a bit overcrowded, but the views are espectacular, the music was authentic so where all the crew at the "Aconchego IV"
"kudos" for their hard work and for making our experience great.

The trip was generally good, however the food was terrible and “lunch” was not served until 4pm. Also, drinks are not included, our guide did not speak English and explained nothing in English unless we asked (and then it was poor), there was only one beach stop for half an hour and the journey was over 2 hours longer than we expected. That said, the staff were excellent and the trip was generally enjoyable. The island and scenery were beautiful. It’s a long day with minimal interaction with the beach.
