Discover the magic of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Giants Causeway on a full-day trip from Belfast. The Giants Causeway Tour from Belfast allows visitors to enjoy some of the most beautiful Antrim coast and Causeway coast scenery our country has to offer.

We visit the only UNESCO World Heritage site in Northern Ireland the famous Giants Causeway. The Giants Causeway is made up of 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, most of which are hexagonal in shape as a result of an ancient volcanic eruption.

Visit attractions like Dunluce Castle, Old Bushmills distillery, and Summon your courage to cross the nail-biting Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. At the Giants Causeway climb the fascinating stones and admire the scenic splendor of the surroundings.

The Antrim Coast Road is widely agreed to be one of the finest stretches of road anywhere in the world. The road hugs the coastline giving incredible seaside views, passing unspoiled beaches, and sheltering under rugged cliffs.

1. Causeway Coastal Route
CAUSEWAY COAST. We make our way back to Belfast along the Antrim Coast Road where we can see fine views of Rathlin Island. The views along this coastline are spectacular, no wonder it is one of the most visited destinations in Europe!
2. Carnlough Harbour
Our first stop of the day takes us into the picturesque fishing village of Carnlough for a quick comfort break. Series six of Game of Thrones saw Carnlough harbor feature for the first time. This harbor although built in the nineteenth century during the famine years still retains an old-world charm, which meant that it didn’t seem out of place when it first appeared in Game of Thrones.
3. Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge
One of the most visited places in Northern Ireland amazing Carrick-a-Rede Rope bridge where you can cross a bridge that spans a chasm over 75ft in height. (Please note Crossing the Rope bridge will depend on the time you have on shore. The Carrick-A-Rede Rope bridge may sometimes be closed due to weather conditions or repairs. There will be a 1-mile walk from the car park to the Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge if you have mobility issues, have small children, or use a stroller that can't handle unpaved pathways. (If you wish to cross the bridge you will need to pre-book your ticket) Please let us know before purchasing your tickets and we will advise of an approx. time of arrival. if you do not wish to cross, we can stop at the viewing point for photos.

BALLINTOY HARBOUR. (The Iron Islands). Ballintoy harbour was the setting for Theon’s return to the Iron Islands as well as some of the areas around Dragonstone. It was here that Theon first met his sister Yara, was baptised in the name of the Drowned God.
5. White Park Bay
A Beautiful scenic beach at the very tip of Ireland and the closest country from here would be Iceland which is 800 miles away.
6. Giant's Causeway
You will visit the only UNESCO World Heritage Site in Northern Ireland. Stop at the Giant’s Causeway to enjoy around 1 hour exploring the 40,000 interlocking hexagonal stone columns on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.
7. Bushmills Distillery
Bushmills Whiskey Distillery has been creating beautiful ‘water of life ‘since 1608 making this the oldest working distillery in Ireland. For those who wish to take a tour at the Bushmills Distillery you will need to pre-book your ticket) Please let us know before purchasing your tickets and we will advise of an approx. time of arrival. Please note that touring the Distillery will depend on your time on the shore. The distillery is only open Monday to Saturday.
8. Dunluce Castle
We arrive at one of the most dramatic castle ruins in the world. Prepare to be amazed at the way this old castle hangs over the edge of the cliffs.
9. The Dark Hedges
One of the most popular natural phenomena in Northern Ireland, the Dark Hedges were used as a set for the hit TV series Game of Thrones. It was the famous King’s Road in Season 2. The hedges were planted by the Stuart family in the eighteenth century. It was intended to impress visitors as they approached the entrance to their home, Gracehill House. Two centuries later, the trees remain a magnificent sight and have become known as the Dark Hedges.

We had a great day out with Murat. He picked up the 4 of us from our Airbnb and took us on the Antrim coastal route to the Giants Causeway. We stopped in a couple of small towns and viewing spots along the way. We saw dolphins swimming off the shore! The views were beautiful and Murat was a great guide, discussing history, nature, folklore, etc. Definitely recommend!

This was a magical day. Murat was the perfect guide. Knowledgeable about the area and very personable. Well worth the cost even though we ended up with only 3 of us. So much better than the large bus tours! We were able to choose our itinerary and how long we wanted to spend at each place.

Murat was a wonderful guide. He picked us up, helped us decide what are plan of the day would be. With Covid, some of the places on our tour were closed, Murat had other Places for us to see. He also had a fantastic place for us to have lunch. The food was delicious.
I had the beautiful day with my family. I would highly recommend this company

If you only have one day in Belfast, then this is tour you MUST book. Murat met us at our hotel and from the moment he greeted us, his customer service was amazing. From opening the van's door each and every time for my wife and family, to ensuring we were comfortable temperature wise during the drive to the expert knowledge of the Belfast area, the service was first class.

Murat gave us lots of historical and cultural information and was more than happy to answer questions. Our tour was a small group which is something I’ll now prefer to do going forward because the private tour provided by Murat seemed like a friend taking us around the city and countryside.

I would highly recommend this tour over others because you get to do and learn so much more than you would on larger groups. Murat never rushed us at any of our tour stops, and made several on the spot recommendations as he got to learn me and my family.

It was a great day trip! I like the driver very much and he is very hospitable. We are not tired all the way because of him, and we are very happy talking and laughing. And the driver also took us to see many beautiful scenic spots, the route arrangement is also very good. Every scenic spot is patiently explained, but also patiently answer our questions! Very recommended!

I wish everyone had a chance to spend a day with Murat, exploring Ireland north of Belfast. He is a wonderful guide—knowledgeable, kind, patient, accommodating, great sense of humor. I had a wonderful time with him, going at my own pace, visiting sites from The Dark Hedges at dawn (magical!) to the ruins and wonders along the north coast, ending with a dramatic ride down the beautiful Antrim Coast. I loved our discussions about Irish history, whiskey, churches, The Troubles, and am grateful for all he taught me along the way.
