WHAT TO EXPECT
1. Corral del Carbon
Start your tour at the Corral del Carbón, a historic site dating back to the early 14th century during the Nasrid period and is a very famous landmark in Granada. Here, you will see the trading center which was used as a warehouse for grain storage especially for merchants from outside the city.
2. Royal Chapel of Granada
Our next stop will be the Royal Chapel of Granada which is the site of the burial of Spanish monarchs. Here, you will see architecture in Isabelline Gothic style dating back to the early 16th century. It is dedicated to to St. John the Baptist and St. John the Evangelist.
3. Granada Cathedral
Admire Renaissance and Baroque architectural styles at the Granada Cathedral dating back to 1561. You will see the five naves that completely cover the cross. The facade depicts a structure representing a triumphal arch. You will also see the bell tower here.

Get to see the Torres Bermejas (also known as the watch towers). These were an important part of the city’s defense and are said to have been built as early as the 9th century. Its mortar walls are of reddish color. These structures were originally a part of the castle.
5. Carrera del Darro
As we continue, you will walk on the Carrera del Darro, a street along which you will see the River Darro, two stone bridges as well as buildings that date back to the 16th and 17th centuries.
6. El Banuelo
Finally, you will visit the famous landmark located in the historic Albaicin quarter of the city, known as El Bañuelo. This was used as a bathhouse until around the 16th century. It was declared as a Cultural Heritage property of Spain in 1918.
