Nairobi National Park Kenya's first-ever National park is a unique and wonderful wildlife haven within sight of the city's skyline. Rhino, buffalo, cheetah, zebra, giraffe, lion, and plenty of antelopes and gazelles can be seen roaming in this open plains country with a section of highland forest as well as stretches of broken bush country, deep, rocky valleys and gorges with scrub and long grass. Ornithologists catch up with over 300 bird species including the Secretary bird, crowned cranes, vultures, peckers, and many more.

The Park is beautiful and the drive per se is a great experience. However, the experience with the tour operator was pretty awful. I booked this experience for two friends who visited Nairobi. They had a pickup scheduled for 0530. I confirmed the time and location with the tour operator and the driver the day before. At 0529 the driver called to inform us casually that " he will just come at 6". My friend's waited in the street for 30 min to show up. He picked my friends up at 6 and took them to the park gate where they waited for nearly two hours- they waited for somebody else to come, etc. All in all, disappointing.
