Depart from the city center of Bordeaux aboard a van to discover the beautiful vineyards of the Margaux appellation and their wines. You will visit a first Chateau and enjoy a tasting of 3 wines, the opportunity to understand the specificities of this appellation.
During your visit of the first Chateau, you will be able to admire the vineyards as far as the eye can see and discover the different grape varieties used to produce the wines of the Margaux appellation. You will also have the opportunity to discuss with wine experts who will explain the production and winemaking techniques.
Then, you will pass by the famous “Chateau Margaux”, the opportunity to take a photo before going to your second guided tour in a 5th Grand Cru classified Chateau. You can then discover the history and architecture of this iconic castle while tasting at least 3 of their wines.
This small-group tour in an ideal setting will allow you to learn about the art of wine and ask your questions to our guide!

Emmanuel was a great tour guide and taught us a lot on the drive to Margaux. A good wine tour that doesn’t take up the whole day. We were able to visit 2 chateaus and also see the famous Chateaux Margaux from the outside.

Very nice tour of the Paveil de Luz and Marquis de Terme Margaux vineyards.
The pick up point was a mere couple hundred yards from the Intercontinental Hotel in the city center.
Nice photos taken at the famous Chateau Margaux…unfortunately no tasting or visit available unless you are invited or a wine négociant.
Valentin was a well wine educated guide-driver.

Olala Bordeaux Half-Day in Margaux with Xavier was delightful, informative and well organized. The winery selections, tastings, narration and comfortable van were excellent. The countryside is beautiful and well worth the travel time from Bordeaux city center. We recommend this tour company and guide.

Visited and tasted chatea Margaux wines at 2 vineyards plus visited the extraordinary chateau margeaux villa owned by a wealthy Greek family. Our guide and driver was exceptional and very knowledgeable. Would recommend you do this !

If time is limited, this half day tour is perfect. Our guide, Vincent, was very knowledgeable and really friendly. He shared lots of information about the Margaux region during the journey. The two wine tasting stops were varied and we tasted some good wines. A short photo stop at Chateau Margaux also gave us insight into the region.
