The trip is worth doing, especially on a sunny day, but the audio guide did NOT work and was necessary to know the different places

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH VIATOR. They are dishonest. When I told them about the error they/the local tour operator had made; that they took 5 more hours than planned, dropped us off at a totally different location and failed to drop us back to the mainland, they refused to provide a refund and instead suggested that we got on the wrong boat when if fact, the local operator confirmed it was our boat when we queued to get on".

We had pre-booked a sunset cruise on our first day at 6 p.m. We had organized our day around this.
No indication of the address of the meeting point, no one responded to the emergency number given in the email.
A former employee finally responded to us after a long time via WhatsApp that he no longer worked for this company but kindly gave us the address.
Arriving as best we could at the pier at 6 p.m. we learned from a neighboring company who called our company that the cruise was canceled “come back tomorrow”. We had not even been warned and no apology or explanation. Result a waste of money, energy but above all time!!!
RUN AWAY !!!

Saw what all the banks of the Bosphorous had to offer plus what was sailing on it. ALoads of very smart former pallaces The trip lasted a fair bit longer than advertised. If youve got a Viator ticket you go to a man outside the kiosk ....he gives you a paper ticket and you by-pass the queue waiting to pay. Theres a huge open deck if the weather is good and very informal seating arrangements ...so basically grab a wooden chair and sit whereever you want. Brilliant value for money . Could do with a more disciplined louder commentary which seemed to come on at random.

Rates were overpriced by 4 times on viator then actual ticket prices. I was surprised to see such a hike by viator

Was a good tour with good information about the sites we were going past. Would recommend as it is very good for the value of money. One thing I think they can improve on is giving more information about the sites we are passing.

I found the tour very pleasing, the duration was also ok and the guide was super friendly and was very knowledgeable about the city and its history and costumes. Overall a very nice experience.

The boat is impressive, modern, the bathrooms clean. We took the walk at noon, it was October and it was already cool, we had the sun on deck. At sunset it sure is incredible, but at this time we saw the palaces and mansions on the coast in great detail...and there is a lot to see: palaces, ruins, mosques, bridges...A beautiful walk!!!
The only “downside” is that it doesn't go through the Maiden's Tower, it leaves Kabatas and turns around towards the pier a little before the Tower.
Totally recommended and very well priced. We bought the tickets at the shipping company's ticket office when we arrived at the Kabatas pier.
Do not miss it!
