Beware the Viator cancellation policy does not always apply if the vendor does not honor it! I gave this 1 star not 0 stars because that was the only way to be able to write a review. I searched on Viator last Sunday, June 23 for a tour that same day, our last day in Rome. Viator offered a different vendor, without indicating the date changed or that the new vendor would not accept a cancellation. It was not until after I received the confirmation email a few minutes later that I saw the date was changed to June 30 - when we were back in the U.S. I contacted Viator immediately, but was told they could not cancel or refund because the vendor would not refund for a cancellation - even minutes after the booking and a whole week before the scheduled event. There were 5 people in the group, so I am out over $200. I will never use Viator again, but I wanted to make sure people understand that the free cancellation policy Viator offers within 24 hours is not available if the vendor will not honor it!! Why does Viator work with such vendors without telling customers??

My mistake, I thought this was a tour. I wish we had a guided tour and not tickets. I would advise to have a guided tour

You can get the exact same thing from the coloseum website for less than half the price. It's not a tour it's an entry ticket. Don't buy!!!!

Great option if you want to explore by yourself or like in my case with a separate private guide that speaks your language. Colosseum Arena was cool. I received tickets to my email 2 days before the event.

There is a lift inside to the second floor so that was useful for my elderly parents although there is still a lot of walking which is understandable due to size of the Colosseum. Staff are friendly and it is such a good experience. There are limited starting areas as well.

To be in the same place as the Gladiators and so many psople of Rome. Astounding! The Forum is mostly ruins, but still exciting to walk around in it, and the hills provide an incredible view of it all!
