We offer a fun and creative experience for children > 3 years. Children will learn how to handle materials; each child will be assisted in designing and creating his/her own work of art. For example, the top of a box, a coaster or a photo frame. Children will work with pre-cut tiles, but there is also a possibility to work with ceramic for children more 9 years old. Adults work with ceramic.
The children will take home their first mosaic art work made by themselves and have a special memory of Barcelona. Children under 5 must be accompanied by one adult.

I received the Diploma accredited for Excellence "Mestre Artesà divulgatiu (Master craftsman diploma) in the work and divulgation of this Art, awarded by the President of the Generalitat de Catalunya at the Palau de la Generalitat in Barcelona.
In 2019 we collaborated with Casa Batlló in the frame of the UNESCO World Heritage Volunteers project “The Restoration of Casa Batlló, from inside to beyond its walls”

Sophia was so friendly and explained everything in a simple manner. She went the extra mile, and when my youngest child was done ahead of everyone, she gave her a magnet to design.

Overall, our kids liked the class and didn’t pick up on the disorganization and lack of instruction we received. So, in that regard it was okay, but both my husband and I thought they were very disorganized (it took about 15 minutes of our precious 1-hour) to get us settled in the right place and with our equipment. Our mosaics were personalized and fun, but the instruction was minimal until we started and then we felt criticized instead of instructed and received contradictory feedback from the instructors hovering around observing our work. Our kids now understand the work and precision that goes into a mosaic, though!

Nice take home creation post Gaudi introduction.
We were fine, but good to know that they grout our work and then we had to return to pick it up mid day.

It’s ok, not much direction, also plan on returning to pickup your artwork. You don’t get the whole experience, they grout it for you instead of learning that part. An ok experience.

we had an enjoyable time. the ladies were nice. they even brought our mosaics to our hotel because we couldn't get back there due to being in a tour. That gets 5 stars!!!. 1 hour just isn't long enough to complete.

Making our own perfect mosaic souvenirs was fantastic! And the kids loved it!
Our teacher was very patient and encouraging with the children. She was the one that made the whole activity worth it!

When we showed up everything was set up and ready for our kids to participate. The ladies there explained everything and were very helpful with our kids.

We had an amazing class, we did the 1 hour class, which was perfect for 2.5 year old twins and tired parents. Sophia and lotza were the guides of the class and helped us so much with our kids so that the adults could enjoy the process, too. My kids are so proud of their artwork, they took the pieces to bed with them tonight and are sleeping with them!
Of note: the kids stuff with just glue you bring home the same day, anything that is actually ceramic with grouting needs to be picked up later.

This was a fantastic experience! We came in on a Saturday for the morning session and had the room to ourselves. We were 3 adults (mom, dad, grandma) and 1 child (4 years old). Our son LOVED the experience. It was such a great thing to do to break up the regular sightseeing we had been doing. In addition, it was a fantastic souvenir to bring home. Loved it!
