All three cities were very attractive, and our guide Toki and our driver, who had excellent driving skills, were wonderful people, so it was a very enjoyable day💕
Kiki took us to not only the tourist attractions, but also the waterways and other wonderful spots, she was good at photography, and always greeted us with a warm smile at the meeting time☺️
Gujo Hachiman, Takayama, and Shirakawa-go were all delicious and not expensive, and they were all warm and lovely places that I would love to go back to❣️
Thank you very much🌸

Very nice visits to the 3 town-villages but very little time to visit the last village (Shirakawago) because it was this one which deserved much more visiting time being a UNESCO world heritage site. We were racing for the latter... 1 hour more would have been welcome!

Very good experience and much more than expected. All three places are very beautiful and worthy to spend the time! Our tour guider (Wang Jie) adjust ed the schedule due to traffic jam but still fit everything in perfectly.

Left me at the first stop (Hachiman, least interesting of the 3), and had to scrap the rest of the day and take public transport back to Nagoya at my expense. Poor communication and organization in general. Contact number provided was to general customer support, who could not get in touch with the tour guide, and it seemed the phone rep couldn't care less about my situation. 90% Chinese/Canto participants. I was the only white/Westerner that I could tell (30-35 total people?). The guide might have been trying to speak English over the intercom at some point initially, but I couldn't understand. I would just rent a car next time. I've traveled abroad quite a bit in the past, lived in China and Singapore before, so I'm not a clueless tourist, but the whole thing just seemed very weakly put together, from start until my (abbreviated) end.

Details
- stated 8:15am leaving time (with no exceptions for latecomers), we started walking from there at 8:19am
- got on bus a few minutes later, but waited another 10 mins apparently for a couple who was late; left at 8:32am
- toll booth/lane restriction delayed us about 20 mins
- arrive at first stop ~10:38am, itinerary stated duration of 1 hour, and I did not hear otherwise; I arrived back at bus at 11:27am and bus was gone
- after getting off the bus, it seemed people dispersed; I made contact with the tour guide after first getting off (though he was no longer carrying the blue flag), and he told me to use the restroom and then he would show me the castle
- I used the restroom (quickly, 1-2 mins), and when I got out, could no longer find the guide nor recognized anyone else from my bus
- I quickly went up to the castle (jogging, taking shortcuts) and the same on the way down, but did not see anyone that I could identify from my group
- apparently I missed the memo on what was happening (a deviation from the itinerary it would seem), and it was not communicated to me as far as I could tell; seems negligent on the guide's part
- the result for me is that I made a stop in Nagoya without doing the thing I went there for (extra hotel nights/time off other portions of my trip), spent most of the day on buses/transport, and paid extra to get back to Nagoya (3pm was the earliest I could get back); I'm definitely seeking a full refund, though the full cost to me is at least 3x that; I'm very thankful to a younger Japanese guy working in Gujo who helped ensure that I was getting back to Nagoya the correct way (and even gave me a small coffee while I waited), because it's kind of out in the boonies; I guess I'm also thankful for the challenge to stay positive and focused on moving forward despite feeling wronged

I have never experienced this where I pay for a service. I check the map of the bus stop I’m supposed to wait for. Arrive there and no bus! Most disappointing service I have ever paid for in travel. No text, no call, no nothing from the organizer. Wasted money and time coming to stay at Nagoya for this trip. The amount of money wasted because of this organizer is over $300. Very unprofessional.

The details provided for joining this tour were totally inadequate. We were in good time thirty minutes in advance and found what we thought was the location. Other tour guides were at this location and we spoke to three trying to find our guide but to no avail. I even accosted a random Japanese lady guiding people onto a coach. By the leaving time we still had not found our guide and one of the other companies said that they were the only company travelling to the destinations that morning. Seeing our distress they very kindly said that we could go with them.
The three visits were enjoyable and it was good to see Japan from outside a city. But all three areas are unexpectedly very touristy and you spend more time travelling ( about twice) than looking around the various locations.

Wonderful trip with a lovely tri-lingual guide who was so knowledgeable and friendly. A great way to see the surrounding countryside in a comfortable bus. As an older solo traveler it was perfect for me!

This trip was pretty good. It was a good bus ride. Lots of room. I did go early March during the off season. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful during the entire trip. I would highly recommend.

Keep in mind you are visiting 3 locations. Though, Gujo and Shirakawago felt like i had enough time, Takayama felt like i could have used more time. This was mostly due to the fact that I had lunch at a restaurant here. Which limited my exploring time quite a bit. However, the food was super good.

Bus driver was also a very smooth operator.
