The Iron Islands & Giant's Causeway tour from Belfast is a fully immersive and inclusive experience. All our guides have worked as extras on Game of Thrones® seasons 1 - 8. We visit Ballintoy Harbour aka the Iron Islands, Ballintoy beach aka Dragonstone beach, a cave in the Stormlands and the Dark Hedges, aka the Kingsroad. We show you VFX breakdowns on tablets, to see how each scene was brought to life. We have Iron Born costumes, metal swords and Greyjoy banners for everybody as part of the tour at no extra cost. Our tours are the real Thrones experience!
All entrance fees and other extras are included in your ticket price. The only extra expense is your pub lunch. Lunch will be in the Fullerton Arms pub. It has one of the six world-famous Game of Thrones® Doors. The doors were fashioned from fallen 200 year old beech trees from the Dark Hedges.

This is my second time booking a Game of Thrones Tour with this company (the first was the Winterfell trek from Dublin) and I have to say that this one shockingly surpassed the 10/10 experience I had in the first one! My gf and I were lucky enough to go on a Saturday, when Game of Thrones featured extra Andrew McClay was leading the trek, and my God, what a magnificent job he did. Well versed in not only everything about the tour, but all the extra little tidbits about the show itself, him being on GoT for multiple seasons as a featured extra. This guy did it all, and made our experience one-of-a-kind. His charisma, insights, temperament, and just incredibly enthusiastic personality makes him a true thespian, and his ability to command the group proved to us why he was featured so prominently on the show and subsequent GoT documentary - The Last Watch. I cannot say enough good things about this company, this tour, and Andrew, himself. Thank you for such a memorable experience. Do yourself a favor and book a trek with Game of Thrones tours! 1,000,000 stars!

Tour started off on the wrong foot, itinerary says driver will arrive at 7:15am and leave at 7:30am - our bus arrived at 7:45am due to "traffic" - we called the company at 7:30am as we were worried and the person on the phone said they "normally show up right at 7:30" and didn't seem concerned.
Also the itinerary says it will be 10 hours ending at 5:30pm we finished at the Dark Hedges before 3pm and were back before 4pm - after starting the day late. I advise them to adjust the itinerary to reflect accurate timing.
The tour guide was very informative and we appreciated the clips and the photos, but at some spots we did feel a bit rushed. Especially the Dark Hedges, we only walked down them once, given we were back over 1.5 hrs early I'm not sure where the time went.
The food at the fullerton arms was also not great, two of us had the seafood chowder and it was the worst on the trip. Menu options are much smaller and limited than what is posted online.

Gordon our bus driver was lovely and got us everywhere on time.
Andrew was amazing! Such interesting stories, behind the scenes facts and lots of laughs! There wasn’t a moment we were bored. Thank you for the most fun filled, informative day!

I loved this experience. Andrew was awesome and I am so glad that I decided to do this. Someone I had been traveling with suggested I come along after my flight was delayed and I am so glad that I did. I would definitely recommend doing this tour.

Absolutely amazing tour! Fun, educational, just the right amount of stops for bathroom and food/snacks. Beautiful landscapes and awesome "behind the scenes" details about Game of Thrones filming and fun facts. Andrew was literally the BEST guide! Highly recommend! Don't leave Belfast without doing this tour if you are a G.O.T. fan!

Tour was brilliant, I'll keep it short and sweet, Andrew made the tour, he was fantastic with lots of information about GOT and the locations.
The enthusiasm and energy he put into the tour was outstanding and it was the best experience I've had sitting on a bus.
The tour is also extremely good value for money with the added bonus of being able to visit the Giants causeway, it was our sons birthday and he went above and beyond to even sing happy birthday wee man in the tune of GOT.
Great scenery, amazing people, HBO should add this to an official tour status.

This tour was amazing!! Absolutely incredible sites from GOT. Robbie was our guide and he was fantastic. He told stories of his time in GOT and explained the film sites, etc. We really enjoyed him! If you have a friend who isn't as interested in GOT as you are, they will still love this tour, the views at the stops are unbelievable. Worth it and would love to do it again.

If I could give this tour more than 5 stars I would. From the start of the tour until the end, our guide Andrew was amazing. It was clear that he really enjoyed working on Game of Thrones. In addition to being a show expert, thanks to his experience on set, he was hilarious and engaging and did a fantastic job leading us through the various locations of our tour. I really enjoyed his stories about his specific shoots, as well as other cast members and directors. It was fun to learn about the hard work that went into filming the series.
Not to mention that the locations we visited in Northern Ireland were gorgeous - from small towns to beautiful landscapes and seascapes. We were very lucky to have a sunny day which made what was already a wonderful tour even better. In addition to seeing filming locations, we visited Giant's Causeway and Dunluce Castle - technically not a part of the show, but I'm so glad they were included since they were closeby.

Andrew McClay was our tour guide, and he was funny, energetic, enthusiastic, entertaining, knowledgeable and very pleasant!
Not one single moment was boring, and the experience exceeded our expectations!!
Absolutely recommend the experience because it was perfection!!
