Best Tangier Day Trip: Highlights, Camels, Medina, Souks & Food!

Muha was great with our 2 day private tour. He customized all our requests and itinerary for us, even last minute change without hesitation. Our Airbnb was in the Medina so there was a long steep stairs to climb with our bags and he was so kind to make sure our elderly aunt was taken care of. He carried all her bags for her and took us to our Airbnb himself so we won’t get lost. The tour in Chefchaouen and Tangier was so well organized and informative, he is so knowledge with Morocco’s history and all our crazy on going questions were always answered. We had the best time and highly recommend Muha as your tour guy in Morocco and we will definitely hire him again next time we are in Tangier.

My 2 young children and mother traveled to Tangier this summer. Mohammed was extremely helpful and thoughtful throughout the planning process. On the day of our tour, everything exceeded our expectations with our guide Ouadie. Ouadie was extremely kind, knowledgeable, patient, and very professional. He was also very perceptive of our needs (2 kids + 3 generations of varying age!) and made our tour a truly wonderful experience.

After our tour, we realized we had forgotten my son’s bag in the car. The bag itself is not of value, but it was a gift from his uncle and had sentimental value. Mohammed and team acted way out of their way to get it back to us. This act of genuine kindness has cemented my son’s memories from this trip, and his impression of Tangier.

Thank you for an amazing experience. We would love to visit again and will be in touch!!

We had a fantastic day exploring Tangier with our excellent, informative guide, Mohammed.
His communication was excellent, the car was comfortable with good air-conditioning, and it was easy to hear Mohammed even from the back seat.
We got a good overview of Tangier, and we were very impressed with the cleanliness and beauty of the city.
It left us feeling we would like to come back to Morrocco and explore more. I would highly recommend this tour and especially Mohammed.

We were lucky enough to spend our one day in Morocco with our warm and welcoming guide, Mohammed. Mohammed taught us so much about his lovely country and now we cannot wait to return and see so much more! Our day trip was relaxed and comfortable and Mohammed had no problem being flexible with the schedule whenever our 7 and 9 year became hungry or tired. He even helped our daughter find friendly cats to pet along our tour which made her so happy and kept her eager to keep walking. Mohammed’s genuine love for his country was palpable. We could not recommend him more!

How is this tour not #1 on Tripadvisor? Our guide was very attentive to our needs, from the moment I reached out with questions to the end of the tour. We were in Tangier for one day and wanted to get the most out of our time there. Our guide ensured we were comfortable the entire time, answered all our questions, and provided useful and interesting information about the sites. We visited the very crowded Hercules Caves (busy with school field trips) but with our guide, we walked passed the lines directly into the caves where he knew where to guide us to have the best views. Felt like it was just us there. Tangier is a beautiful city that is led by a guide who truly loves it. The tour was just three of us so we managed to see everything we wanted very efficiently. A true VIP experience. Thank you for everything!

We reached out and Moha initially replied in a very professional manner. Although he was going to be our guide for the day, he wasn’t able to do so and sent a colleague of his, Sherrif. There’s only accolades which we can give to both Sherrif and our driver. The Mercedes van was extremely comfortable, with water available for the day. Sherrif was extremely nice, pleasant to be with, knowledgeable and professional. We loved our day in Tangiers and I fully recommend Moha and his team as guides. Thanks Moha and Sherrif, it was an unforgettable day for our group !

Moha was so awesome. He made the entire experience so effortless. He met us right when we got off the ferry from Tarifa. He toured us around Tangier as though we were a local. We ate, shopped and hung out with the locals. (He seemed he knew everyone in Tangier.)

Upon arrival at the dock, he picked us up in a beautiful Mercedes van that comfortable sat me, my wife and two adult kids. In addition, he had a driver so that he was able to explain all about Tangier with us without any distractions - his English is perfect! He had a complete grasp of the history, the politics and the Tangier/Morocco culture - it was truly fascinating.

I highly recommend Moha - he was the best guide and now friend we could have asked for during the 6 hour tour.

This tour was the best that my family and I have ever had in our lives. When coming to a new continent and nevertheless a new country we were hesitant because we didn’t know much about this beautiful country Morocco. However, I contacted a travel agency in my local neighborhood and signed up for Mohammed’s tour because it sounded like a rich and beautiful experience. However, my expectations were blown away because we did so much and we are incredibly grateful to have had this tour with Mr. Mohammed. In addition, my mother , brother and I had to travel without my dad and it was so different for us, but by having Mohammed as our tour guide we felt incredibly safe, respected and everything unbelievable amazing that a person can possibly imagine. Mr. Mohammed is incredibly knowledgeable about his country and can answer any question and can give any history and any information you desire about Morocco. Mr.Mohammad helped us navigate the Moroccan markets, restaurants, sites, and neighborhoods. Mr.Mohammed also made sure we did not get taken advantage of in the stores or in the markets. We learned so much about the beautiful Moroccan culture, history and people. Me and my family were truly so blown away from the beautiful sites and authenticity we saw. However we were not only blown away by our tour but truly by the kindness and the knowledge of our tour guide. Lastly, Mr. Mohammad is such a kind and humble person. My family and I truly enjoyed our time with him.We truly desire another trip with Mr. Mohammed and hope to in the future. We recommend him a billion times if you want the best tour. If we could rate this tour and Mr. Mohammad a million stars, we would.
