Explore an underground river system and 2 cenotes at the same location. All the photos listed here you will see in person. You will be swimming through different cave rooms under stalactites and hanging tree roots for approximately 1,5 hours with a life jacket which allows you to float therefore you do not have to be a great swimmer. As it is possible to get lost if you are navigating on your own, this location requires a guide. After the cave rooms have been explored, you will be able to spend time on your own without a guide to swim and take photos. Be prepared to have the most surreal and otherworldly experience of your lifetime.

Definitely a must do trip. We were picked up on time in a clean van. Juan was informative, kind, helpful, and patient. The Cenotes were absolutely stunning. So much to see. Don’t look elsewhere.

Juan provided an amazing experience. Belinda and I both loved the tour and his insight. My only issue is that he has not sent additional pictures that we asked him to send. That’s disappointing but it does not change the fact that the experience was amazing.

This was an exceptional experience and one that shouldn’t be missed. Juan imparted so much knowledge about the region, the cenotes and cave system of the Yucatán peninsula, as well as history of the region and Mayan culture. We also learned of the concerns for the regions cenotes as they experience climate change and the environmental impact of over tourism. The more engaged you are as a tourist, the more you will learn from Juan. The cenotes are breathtaking and a spiritual experience for me to see the light coming into the cenotes from above. Respect your surroundings

This was such an interactive and highly personalized experience. I definitely recommend it for water lovers, nature-lovers, adventure-lovers, or someone who just wants to experience some of the cenotes that Tukum has to offer with an experienced and knowledgeable guide and without being rushed so they can really soak in the opportunity. I would do this over and over again! We truly appreciate Juan's attentiveness, professionalism, and also allowing us to explore without a timer - LOVE IT! Likely the best tour I've ever done though Viator.

Without a doubt the BEST part of our Mexico vacation!! The open air cenote had tiny fish swimming around and was the perfect introduction to a cenote. The second cenote was a cave system that was flooded and should honestly be considered the 8th wonder of the world. By the way, we were the ONLY people there, which added to the serenity and made the experience truly feel private! Have you ever seen a rainbow colored tropical bird perched in a tree… in a cave?! Seriously, STOP & book this tour! We are beyond happy to have been taken to a local’s favorite spots than being shoulder to shoulder at the more popular places. One thing this tour reminded us of, popular does NOT mean better!
Our tour guide Juan was so knowledgeable about the area and shared tons of other fun facts along the way. He explained how important cenotes were for the Maya culture and the history behind the places we visited. Thank you Juan for making this a trip of a lifetime - you are awesome!! Btw he also provided fresh fruit, water, drinks, and light snacks to hold us over until we were dropped back off at our hotel.

Overall A+ experience. Juan was an incredible guide, and the cenotes he takes you to are absolutely breathtaking.
Juan is so knowledgeable and he made the experience extra enjoyable for my wife and I. This is the best activity we did while in Tulum and is a must do.
